Lara drops her pick and stake in favour of the new poison-themed items she just found. Ricki inspects the empty eggshell behind where the cobra lurked, but doesn’t see anything useful. It seems that the snake hatched here, probably some time after the room was sealed by the kobolds.
Ricki, Kamau, and Lara then ascend back to the previous room. Ricki and Kamau continue one more room to the top level of the dungeon.
Botanya keeps messing around to combat boredom.
Plan: save botania from boredom
Ricki: wait for lara, point out trap to party. Move right. Use wand of fireball on zombie 1 from a distance.
Lara: move up one. Avoid trap, double move right
Kamau: avoid trap. Move right. Stand near zombies so flytrap can attack
Flytrap: attack zombie 2
Botania: pipe zombie 1
Still unsure if these zombies will stick to botania, switch to flytrap, or maybe one will rush ricki (unlikely I think).
This should teach us a lot about the zombie targeting rules and hopefully clear them out with 0 infection on characters.
I think it’s probably totally safe to have the mushroom from Ricki attack the one she wands, and might be preferable. I doubt the wand alone does enough damage to kill it, and I think there’s 0 chance the zombies gang up on the mushroom when they’re both being targeted by different pets.
That being said, if they did both target the mushroom we lose Kamau, so maybe better safe than sorry.
Is five damage enough to take out a zombie?
No idea.
To elaborate, I don’t think we can have Ricki’s mushroom attack in melee and her at range which is why they each are attacking a separate one
Are the mushrooms attacking? I don’t see it listed.
I am 99% sure we cant have a pet in melee, and the owner attacking at range. Reasoning: wolfspider had an ability that allowed it to do that specifically
I feel like we did this at some point with Lohk and Daisy in the manor, so might be worth a check.

I don’t like this plan. Both Botanya as well as the flytrap are vulnerable t fire.
While the wand of fireball states neither AoE damage nor that the taget becomes burning, undead flesh can be depicted as very dry (depending on the undead and the media you take them from), and I don’t want the zombies to catch fire and Botanya and the flytrap suffering for it (and Kamau in consequence, because he is maxed out on remorse, thanks to the snake stunt, and one more point will send him into “no level-up and no bond-increase” land).
Why are people abandoning a party member? Is she low health? I’d say do whatever is needed to join her.
Au contraire. She is in full health, and she can hold those zombies in that room without infection risk, which is what we want. We don’t want those zombies to move to Coccyx’s area.

Guarantees Zombie deaths. Risks 0-2 infection on Kamau only, which isn’t bad considering he only has 1. And is an opportunity to test whether or not Kamau’s cleave makes him a viable target over other allies (Ricki’s shroom, in this case) in unintelligent enemies targeting “AI”.
If the shroom dies, Kamau remorses out due to damage on Botanya. Just checking:are you sure it won’t die? I think the zombies can’t get through its def while Botanya is around, but best to be sure.
We’ve confirmed Zombies have 2 Atk.
Botanya’s aroma subtracts 1 from that.
2 – 1 = 1.
Shrooms have 1 defense.
1 – 1 = 0.
Shroom takes 0 damage.

I am shamelessly stealing Sick’s plan with one notable exception. I’m having lara shoot Cocyx’s bony ass.

And here’s why I’m having Lara shoot him. She can hurt him now with sting, but not much. 4 damage with Night eyes and the rotfang hood? He’s gotta have at least 1 DEF and at least five health.He keeps being annoyed as hell we aren’t fighting him, so let’s give him what he wants. Cause we still have no clue how to recruit him and we’re looking close to wrapping up this dungeon.
I’m at peace with not getting him if we can’t figure out it out. But figure we should try this and see what happens. If this doesn’t work with the movement plan above let me know.
Night eyes probably doesn’t affect poison sting, so it’s even less than that. Night eyes adds attack and poison sting doesn’t use attack.
Also it’d be great if we could switch to the corn spear just so we don’t forget and have the extra defense when we aren’t fighting.

A character can’t move after attacking, if I’m not mistaken. Are we sure having Lara attack Cyx is a good idea? It will force Ricki to come back to get her because of the trap.
Ah crap. I think with everybody looking at this as a mostly copy of the other plan we missed that Lara’s movement isn’t included. I think the idea was to move everybody over the trap together and then Lara stays on the screen Kamau and Ricki are currently on but past the trap to snipe Coc. Unfortunately the edit bug means the post can’t be changed.
Edited her moving to the right of the trap first before shooting.
