Dungeon 6 Turn 17
————
Ricki, Daisy, and the wolf spider finish off the book worm at last while Lohk destroys the library dog skeleton. The giant invertebrate doesn’t drop any items, only goop.
“You are taking a bath the SECOND we get out of here, young lady.”
“Aw, man.”
Macadamia returns to the entrance and kicks apart another skeleton. This is the sort of fight he feels most comfortable with.
Lara runs back through the giant cloud of flies, taking 1 damage on the way. She also scoops up two pieces of raw meat and two blocks of cheese on the way. She’d be less angry about this whole situation if she could actually eat any of the stuff she took.
Carry on cleaning!
Lohk, and Macadamia: destroy dog skeletons at entrance hall.
Lara: try cooking all the ingredients you can at the oven, starting by meats.
Ricki: move the bookshelf the bookworm came out of to the right, to match the position of the one on the floor above.
EDIT: Why move the bookcase? Because it’s a PUZZLE, that may be hiding the passageway to the PUZZLE chest, which may open only on Halloween.
Daisy might stop lhok from destroying skellies.
Are we really sure these actions are necessary? I would prefer to loot book cases or use the scroll.
She didn’t in the library.
We are quite certain something will go down in Halloween. Given the catastrophic potential of buffed doggos coming in on Halloween, and the intention of LSN to do extra turns in this day, it seems like a worthy endeavor
and I’d prefer to have Mac (skills!) do the cooking and Lara bookshelf moving (tall person!)
also – if Mac does the food, imagine Lara’s face when she tastes it
Too many actions required to switch inventories.
She won’t stop us.
That was merely LSN flavoring the fact that pets, unless they have other abilities in their sheet, can only perform attack actions, and that we were asking her to do something other than an attack
Nice. If those actions get voted for, we only have 1 skeleton in the rat tunnel part of the big bat room (and I am not sure we need to go back in there, so unless those doggy skeletons awake AND move around the dungeon, we should be good to ignore that one) and two in the room with the kidney pincher. (which we can’t get to before Monday without considerable risk).
While we might have wasted a couple of turns/actions on something that turned out ot be unnecessary in the end, I figure spending ONE action each to destroy those skeletons without getting any damage back (because they can’t attack) is way better than possibly having to spend several actions each to destroy them while they are busy chewing on our characters.
We aren’t good to ignore it because it will add a skull we need to destroy.
Lohk: Find a bathroom and force Ricki to take a bath. 😛
Don’t bother pointing out there isn’t a bathroom. I know. Don’t ruin the joke.It is quite well that Lohk does not know details about Dungeon 4: The Rat Vault…
Lohk and Macadamia clear dog skeletons in entryway.
Ricki: Try lassoing your rope around the chest on the alcove so we can access it.
Lara: Cook your raw meat at the stove. If it’s possible to cook the cheese, do that as well, and if it’s possible to cook cheese with meat when cooking to make a cheesesteak/cheeseburger do it. So in an ideal world we’d have one cooked meat, one “cheese burger” and one cooked cheese (fondue? Grilled cheese?). Move to the entryway after cooking.
Can we swap Lara and Mac regarding cooking? Intermission says Mac has some skills
No. Too many actions required.
Wow what does Lohk do with the dog’s skull XD and it even has green eyes! I wonder did it wake up somehow for a second, or is that the slimy goooop that got into its eyeholes.
Or maybe that’s a drawing glitch?
I wondered about that too. The goop on Ricki is a slightly different green so I don’t think it’s that. My guess is it’s just a drawing glitch, but Lohk should take a closer look just in case. Maybe because she’s a channeler something special is happening?
LSN confirmed drawing glitch. But it is a nice glitch, so it is Lohk magic now.
Oh, Lara is hungry? And there were 3 pieces of cheese.
I just though of one thing – I wonder if we can PULL the first table by its leg or something, the one table with the cheese, and simply move it out from under the flies?
Cheese doesn’t stack, apparently, only meat – go figure.
Pulling the table is worth a try, though I bet the flies would follow it.
We did know this. Items that stack say so in their description.
If Spider lady is hungry and the flies are bothering her…..
Mmmm flys
I wonder if smoking a cig and exhaling the smoke on the flies would do the trick?
