Dungeon 18 Turn 6
————

Ricki jumps over a trap and runs past a group of rats (half of which she dodges) and bashes apart the wooden barrier with her conjoined broccoli.
Below, Amadeusz enters through the door and opens the chest Ricki previously exposed. Inside he finds an elaborately curved blade. He wondered if he might find it somewhere in here.
Up above, Ricki sees one of the Guards fall in battle. The solar guardian continues to slowly take damage.

SINGING SWORD
Weapon
Atk +3. While carrying but not wielding, can expend one Musical use to add the weapon’s damage to an attack.
Weight 1, Cost 30

Plan: loot and stuff
Ricki: open the locked chest. Make sure to keep a set of Lock picks but drop any extra lock picks if you need space. Avoid the trap door and end turn by the hole.
Amad: check this poster
It’s been pointed out that Amad’s lever moved when Ricki flipped hers so it’s safe to say they both move the wall.
“end turn by the hole” Unless Ricki has gained the ability to pass walls, she needs to move the lever to lower the steel wall, which she cannot do while also looting, according to https://bit.ly/dungeon-eyes-mechanics
Also: When approaching the hole, do avoid the stalkroach.
I originally had amad flip the lever which would have allowed Ricki to get past but changed it later. This should still be fine since she’s still getting off the rat floor and avoiding trap. If she ends next to the wall that’s fine
We have a choice coming up soon:
Do we have Amad run past the Solar and the surviving guards next turn?
Do we wait 3 turns until the Solar kills them all?
Do we use the Venom wand to finish off the Solar with the guard’s help?
I dont want to waste our whooping +6 on our first attack this dungeon on a guard (would like to save it for the 3rd floor solar). But we don’t want guard damage to be added to the 3rd floor solar’s dmg either.
I don’t think waiting for the solar is a good idea. I sorta feel that they’re meant to be stopgaps for the next wave of soldiers. Also pretty sure parameters may change once we get to the top of the dungeon…
We could stop the next wave by blocking the door by re-applying the bars, but that would also prevent Amad from moving out of the tower by that way. On the other hand, if Ricki and Amad are successful at joining at the top of the tower, Amad could use the way Ricki used, and if the dungeon is finished, he would even exit the dungeon without available exit.
Amadeusz can’t go through rat holes.
Our listed goal is to reunite Ricki and Amadeusz, and bond dungeons are usually short. Something will happen when they meet up, maybe the dungeon will end there.
I’m mostly suspicious about needing to exit in gameplay because there’s all these reversible blockades which can make a retreat harder for us.
We don’t need to worry about an exit strategy. They auto leave when dungeon goal is met.
All changing dungeon goals have happened from other effects like:
Finishing a side quest (Warren’s)
Flipping all the levers (magic factory)
Sun orb being removed from castle (sky garden).
We can also use the chandelier to maybe finish off the solar, preferably on the same turn the solar clears the last guard. I’d like that, it would give Amadeusz a chance to hide from the third solar and the reinforcements while opening the path for Ricki to scout.
We don’t have the inventory for it, but it would be nice to get loot away from the guard patrols. We might be allowed to reposition a bunch of stuff in the same turn if we are just dumping it over by the chest so we can lock it away.
In case anyone was wondering,
Solar currently has 8 hp and will be taking 2 each round now.
Current knowledge of tower:

I notice a holy-coloured weapon trail on the Solar’s greataxe this turn, which wasn’t there last turn (maybe oversight). Matches up with the weapon trail on the first Solar’s longsword.
As mentioned last turn, if these weapons are enchanted with Blinding for +1 holy damage, then they’re dealing 3 extra with a holy seal in the room. Still worse for using against a Solar with their +4 Holy defense, but they’re dangerous for a guard to use against Amadeusz (and vice versa if we get a moment with all enemies dead where we can grab loot).
I don’t think that’s holy enchant, I think those trails are solar blood
What are people’s thoughts about trying to finish dungeon before t10 patrol catches up? Provided the barred door stops them for 1 round, they would engage Corona solar on t14. That’s about the normal length for a bond dungeons so far
I’m unclear on how “room” is defined with regard to wanted posters. I’ve been assuming that once Amad gets up to the third level, he’ll be hit with the combined effects of all the posters we can see on that level (7 regular ones and 2 enhanced ones). It seems to me he should be defenseless and unable to do any damage on that level, if that assumption is true – but is it?
I’ve been told that duplicate posters don’t stack (I believe it was in a wrap up stream). So we only need to worry about a red and white stacking. We do not know the red debuff but it’s probably not bigger than -3
