Dungeon 17 Turn 6
————

Ricki leads Mac across another pit trap, then continues left to the other room. Macadamia throws his shocktail javelin at the green spelled book above, which swoops down to attack him in turn. He takes it out in one strike, and takes no damage in return. The book disintegrates and leaves behind a venomous enchantment scroll, which Mac picks up.

Ricki uses her chameluxeon mittens to climb down to a lower platform in the upper left room. Doing so moves her across a pit trap, but the fact that she’s climbing prevents her from falling. Ricki (and Mac in the other room) lose 1 maximum health from choking on library dust.

yay we can read
venemous brocoli XD
lol. we wouldn’t like to have to eat ‘venomous brocolli’ weapon in dire times xD
but w.r.t. pure damage, sure, why not?
Plan: Blue boy
Ricki: Read the Blue Book. Hop down from the ledge and move down to the next room. Avoid the ladder wrung trap and point it out to Mac. Pick up the scroll if it drops from Mac’s attack.
Mac: Move left. Move down with Ricki. range attack the green book nearby.
This hopefully gets Ricki to Well read 2 so she can attack red books (or at least will be able to distract them. Also (maybe) clears a book with another scroll
Future plan rough draft:
Next turn. Ricki attacks/distracts red books. Mac reads blue scroll.
T+1 Mac makes Digs to the hole. Ricki attacks red books.
T+2 Mac and ricki go through hole. Mac gets red, Ricki gets red.
T+ we clear red books/examin gate, loot locked chest etc.
The downside is that both Ricki and Mac will be attacked by a worm at least once and we may want to re-enchant a ring or weapon.
Of all the enchantments, the worst to lose (in my opinion) is the fiery enchant on the broccoli (since its confirmed it lets IX use it) and maybe the new ring we just got?
I think we could try tossing an item of our choice to the worm to feed it. It will cost an extra action though.
Also, if we know Ricky and Mac will be each attacked by the worm, why not just attack it already? Two full round of attacks should do the trick, and worm will do two attacks just the same (though, it will get a small boost from eating in the meantime, but it shouldn’t change anything). Killing the worm ensures it’s no longer there in case we need to pass, thus no further item losses.
