Lara quickly swims to the right to check on the main well shaft. As she suspected, the poison has cleared up here, too! So it seems there’s more value to destroying those eggs than just making individual rooms safer to navigate.
She quickly swims back to the previous room.
“Come on, guys!”

The entire party gathers around Ricki and basks in the glow of her boundless optimism as she uses her Grit ability. Ricki, Lara, Amadeusz, and Cordy each recover 3 HP.
Pet Master becomes vaguely uncomfortable at the visual invocation of a different anime.

Plan: Prep for fish.
Amad: Avoid Crabs, swim down and lens a fish.
Cordy: Sting Crab 1
Lara: Kill crab 2.
Ricki: Kill Crab 1
Main purpose is to get info on the Skeleton fish because… the math is just not working with these guys. Either they or the poison water is doing variable damage and we cant afford to take unexpected damage if we’re going to pull this off.
We also get a mushy on lara (or cordy).
T19: we engage the fish in the next room.
T20: Fall back for T20 twist or break barricade and puffers
Warning: There is at least 1 more crab in the pile. One of the skulls reversed orientation when the other crabs attacked.

Actually, I had to put both panels side by side, but that is not true. The 3 skulls looking left are normal and the 2 that were looking right moved and engaged Cordy. The one on the far right only looks like it moved because it was actually the second from the right and the far right was one of the crabs that moved.
To be honest, I don’t think the direction the skulls were oriented should make any difference. Like, skeletons looking right and left would attack as a group.
But actually, here, yeah, all right-looking skulls turned out to be crabs. At least we see that (probably) all crabs revealed themselves, since even the most-distant 5th skull activated.
This is our last chance to kill fish before the turn 20 timer(current plans get executed on T19). Whatever the fish are doing, it will get worse if we don’t fight now. >.<

Plan: Super Safe route
Amad: Trade Lens to Ricki
Ricki: Trade Crit Greaves to Amad
Lara: Crush Crab 1
Cordy: Sting Crab 2 from afar
This plan delays lensing a fish to save us the dmg Amad would get from drowning. It also has the benefit of giving us another turn to get a second mushroom AND let us see what happens on T20 without being in a dangerous spot to begin with.
Next Turn: Lens Fish, Kill last Crab, grab some coins/ drink potion maybe
Plan: Fight fish before poison gets worse
I’m paranoid the poison damage will increase again on turn 20 which will make the fight hurt more.
We are already making sure no one gets attacked by more than 1 fish, it doesn’t get better than that. Waiting just means we have to take an extra poison damage on everyone when we do fight the fish.
Lara/Ricki/Amad: Move down. Each kill a different fish.
Cordy: Move down. Spore touch a different fish (to be assigned to Lara next turn)
Amad’s mushie: Attack the last untargetted fish to distract it
After, Lara gets the new mushie assigned to her to do Sick’s maneuver with Cordy like on turn 13 to kill the puffers while Ricki clears the barricade for them. Amad can lens or kill the lone fish left
Amadeusz: Tell pet master that if he wants to watch he has to pay.
Ricki: casually put on brass knuckles.
Cordy: cross your arms and stand menacingly.
Lara: Slap your hand with a baseball bat then swing it up to rest on your shoulder.
Are we going to beat up Petmaster?
Not that I dislike the idea of punching him,but he has a 1000% chance to dodge.
We just need him to be intimidated. Let’s take a lens, carve a fake message into it that says we have a 1001% chance to hit, and toss it to him.
