As Ricki walks through the bustling and heavily renovated manor, she reflects on what the place looked like when she first arrived what feels like close to four years ago (it’s only been a few months). The warped floorboards have been replaced, the peeling wallpaper stripped, the furniture repaired, the amenities upgraded, and multiple paintings depicting the entire process commissioned. As she looks at all the progress that has been made, she thinks the work might finally be done!
She’s just about to join Lohk for a nice nap on one of those amazingly comfortable looking couches when Amadeusz steps out of a hallway in front of her.
“Ah, Ricki. Just the goblin I was looking for.”
“There’s something I’d like to talk to you about.”
Phoenix is either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid given how well the last dungeon went for princess…
I wonder what Amadeusz is wanting to talk about? I would be a little surprised if it turned out to be another “BTW, here’s another dungeon that I just learned about…” moment, since I feel like we’ve tapped out on those.
Maybe it has something to do with Manor being fully upgraded…? It DID technically belong to him at one point, after all, even if it was from a legal standpoint. His “Minimum Acceptable Level of Comfort” ability might have been a hint towards something good happening when it was maxed out entirely, even if the ability itself just works off of the “main” upgrades.
…might be nice if he got an extra bond point out of fully upgrading the Manor, too!
