While the rest of the party remains stunned from the crabhead’s attack, Lara pulls out her heavy axe and takes out one of the plague rats. She takes no damage from doing so, because the dog and the other rat end up fighting each other instead. It looks like the rat takes more damage than the dog does.
Ricki: Drop the Venom Gland and search the Cupboard then go through the tunnel then down.
Lara: Search under the bed then go left.
Maca: Break the Dog Skeleton then go through the tunnel then down.
Lohk: Cast Heal on Maca then go through the tunnel then to the item stash in the Kitchen.
The Specter attacks next turn, and if it hits Maca and we don’t heal him, he dies.
Having Lara look around is partly for searching for loot and partly hoping that the Dog and Rat finish each other off this turn. The Dog probably lives even after Lara’s Venomous Sting though, but that can be someone else’s problem.

I added movement after I saw your post and realized I forgot to make anyone move but, didn’t realize that made our posts almost the same until you pointed it out.
And I added Dropping the Venom Gland after seeing that suggested on Discord, which you also did, so…
(The main difference between plans is my post moves farther in one turn, which is a problem if we want to go back for whatever we find next turn, and thisnameismeta’s commits to moving less, which is less convenient if we want to send someone up the tower.)Correction: The ONLY Difference is who searches under the bed and who searched the cupboard.

Oh. It is. I just got confused by the more descriptive movements and thought you were saying just move through the holes. The only diference is who searches under the bed and the cupboard.
I’d like to keep the dog skeleton just so if we need it for later (ie the three riddle) it’s around
That is not the last dog skeleton present. In the tower there is another one.
Lohk: Cast heal on Macadamia, then move back through the rathole, down to the entryway, and back to the kitchen.
Ricki: Drop the poison gland by the cupboard and then check under the bed before heading back to the entryway via the rathole.
Lara: Open the cupboard then head to the library.
Macadamia: Break the dog skeleton then head for the entryway via the rathole.
Let’s let the dog kill the plague rat and start moving forward to selling our available loot with Paws. This gets us info on the remaining bed item and moves everybody else towards the safe/our kitchen loot pile to start the process of clearing the final enemies and selling loot.
Lara: Attack Dog
Mac: Open wardrobe
Lohk: Heal Mac, use spell
Ricki: Check bed
Hey, maybe we could tame the dog? We haven’t seen one of this kind/colour yet, and it might take a liking to us, if we help it against the plague rat (helping it against the rats would have worked for the original wolf spider) and maybe even use some healing potion on it (if we can afford it) later?
Daisy is awesome (look at how concerned she is about Lohk going all limp!), we could use another pet similar to her.
EDIT: Too bad we used up all the meat already (but better our chars survive than get get another pet and one of our chars bites the dust).
It is good idea to help the dog to kill the rat.
Also after healing job is done Lokh (riding Daisy) can move closer to the dog. She has right armor and right “horse”.
The dog has red eyes like Lara has…
Feed the dog, don’t kill it. Now that the mind control is gone, it’s ready to become a pet. A better pet than the other one because it’s pallette shifted.
I’d be down to try this very briefly if we find any meat.
