Dungeon 17 Turn 16 Part 1

With Ricki and Macadamia reciting together, the glyphs glow golden, and the sealed door slowly opens. The air inside is stale, but surprisingly less dusty than in the rest of the library.Perhaps whatever’s inside is better preserved than what’s outside.
…Or perhaps not.
“I guess we found the dragon that lived here. The “Glorious One”, they called her.”
“That’s fairly typical of the titles dragons gave themselves, from what I’ve heard.”
“I wonder how she got in here?”
“I don’t think even that giant door is big enough for her to have fit through.”
“If the dragon was in here long enough, it might have grown too large to escape.”
“We found some magic books and scrolls down here. If the dungeon magic was focusing into the books, and the dragon was eating the books, that could certainly have caused a growth spurt.”
“Do you think it was dungeon madness that made her do it?”
“Who knows why these monsters did anything?”
“Well, it doesn’t look like she ate these kobolds at least.”
“I’d guess they starved to death in here with her.”
“Horrible.”
“Ricki, I think I’m ready to leave.”
“I appreciate you doing this for me, but seeing things like this… it’s very difficult for me.”
“I understand. We can go if you’re having a hard time.”
“Although…”
“It looks like there’s one more book in here.”
“It’s not even crumbling like the others.”
“Strange. It may have been written more recently, or maybe there’s some other enchantment on it?”
“It’s frustrating how little we really learned about what happened here.”
“This is probably our last chance to piece things together.”
“What do you think? We’re already in the room, and the air isn’t as bad here.”
“One more book, then we go?”
“Well, we did come all this way…”
“Okay.”
“One more.”

Can’t tell if we completed the dungeon yet or not.
We’ve had it before, including during Lara’s Bond dungeon. There it did end the dungeon- that’s probably the case here as well.
Pretty sure we won. Great job all! So happy we dont have to fight anything in a final room ^_^

Come to think of it, it’s actually pretty impressive that both Ricki and Mac were able to read such large books so quickly. Or maybe the dungeon magic just condensed the words into the most useful, albeit cryptic parts?
…I wonder if Mac is going to get some sort of cool physical transformation out of this dungeon like Lara did with hers, or if it’ll be more of a metaphorical transformation where he, like, learns a lot about his people’s culture and junk.
(It turns out dragons are just evolved kobolds. Mac becomes a full-sized dragon.)
