Seeing one of their beloved pets in dangers, and not wanting to have to come up with a name for the replacement mule, the entire party charges to the flower to attack the corn general. As usual, Kamau leads the way and intercepts all of the incoming attacks, taking a mind-boggling 21 damage. However, his Dauntless nature allows him to get back up with a last burst of strength.
Ix and the pets do decent damage to the general, but Ricki doesn’t pull any punches. She uses her gargantula gland and the demon ichor she just got to land a devastating blow, freeing Golly and defeating the enormous corn once and for all!

As Ricki helps Kamau back to his feet, the general explodes into a staggering number of ordinary corn cobs, which rain down throughout the room. He also drops the cauliflailer, which Ricki picks up, and a corn horn, which Ix quickly grabs. Now there’s just two unled corn knights in the way of freedom.
Botanya looks curiously at Golly as the two of them are reunited. When did this weird fat dog wander off?

Once per dungeon, when used to play a song, summons a friendly Corn Knight with a Corn Spear to guard the location where the horn is played, or a friendly Harvest Corn Knight with a Harvest Corn Spear if used as part of a Musical ability. They will surrender their weapons to the horn’s wielder if asked.

Eating means health. Kamau needs health. This corn cobs looked like food, like something edible. But Items page only mentions they stack to (just) 5, and nothing about eating them.. Maybe IX could try to make some pop-corn xD

Given that Ricki determines whether Dungeon Eyes ends or not (and that we bring her to every dungeon) the extra HP would be good for her. The weapon is too inconsistent with its damage to be useful.
This also kills a Corn Knight, so 1 more and then we grab and Go.
Plan: last chest and maybe new friends?
was pointed on discord we got combat end looting before killing corn knights and LSN replied the corn knights are demoralized and to pity them so trying to make new friends while Ricki gets the last nearby chest.
Corn cant hurt Kamau anymore (18 atk after Botanya debuff vs 18 def).
Ricki: Move left. Loot locked chest, drop lockpicks for space if you kept them. Let onion grab you after.

I’m worried that onion is going to grab Ricki before she loots and Ricki doesn’t have a parachute if it drops her off the edge. We only have 4 turns to fix things if something goes wrong. It’s not worth the risk
We got action priority over monsters, like Ricki could grab floor lens before she got yoinked last time.
and monster page literally says onions want to kidnap people and carry them off and that we can free them like we did before
At least use gravity staff and make the onion fall off the bottom first. Saves us all the trouble andiss chance trying to kill it
but we want the onion to bring Ricki back up so she can rejoin everyone after.
Miss chance is only for Ricki so idea is Ricki eats cauliflail while Ix stab onion.
Top platform of left room blocks onion from flying up so it needs to get under it then fly right, where Ix frees Ricki.
Just to be safe, I think we need Ix to move left along with Ricki, so he can destroy the onion as soon as it reaches a safe spot to drop Ricki. If Ix only gets there a turn later, the onion might be too up high.
Yep, Ix is moving left to start his turn there.
We have no control of where onion will bring Ricki. It could bring her to the top of the screen and she takes fall damage and remorses kamau out. Or off a ledge.
We dont, but the walls control onion movement. Onions cant go through walls like ghosts.

The left room is basically split in two between the upper section and the lower section where the onion is.
To go up, the onion first NEED to move horizontally through the gap between the main big floor and the upper ladder floor to reach the upper section.
So no, it can’t bring her to the top of the screen, because Ix can kill it on its only path. Killing onion immediately stop it from moving more as we already saw on turn 28 when Ricki was kidnapped before.
No, it won’t drop Ricki off a ledge, the lens are clear they grab to ABDUCT people and literally says we can rescue captives.
Like, I’m all for paranoia when there’s reasons for it like the general’s strategic genius, but onions just want to kidnap people. The behavior is clear on the enemies page and we even saw how it work in action before.
What about Ricki’s shroom? It gets trapped down there as the onion only grabs her.

What do you mean by “one room left”? Ricky is now at the flower, and the screenshot you posted shows one room to the right of the flower instead?

Ghost’s plan modified to send Ricky 1 room further to right and peek into one room that we missed.
Ricky can grab the shield when she’s moving back to the center. Ricky has to jump up through two clouds, but those clouds have full HP now, will endure trip forth&back with no issues.
Ricki: Eat the cauliflower, go one room RIGHT, and then up the clouds and to the RIGHT again, to see a new room.

Friendly reminder before we venture too far away.
and we’ve just completed turn 46, and we’re planning moves for turn 47.
We have 4 full turns: 47,48,49,50. This means max 2 moves “away” and 2 turns “back to flower”. To jump-off-from-anywhere we lack some parachutes, so we should at least make sure that people without parachute get to the flower room in time. Kamau and Botanya still have 1 MOV so they should always carry a parachute, just in case. Ricky and Ix have 2 MOV so much better chances of getting to the flower if something surprises us (like, a corn cob falling on someone’s head and stunning them for 1 turn).
I also think it’s generally unwise now to try to uncover missing rooms. Revealing a room costs us a turn. But if we end turn doing this, we waste nothing. Ghost’s plan seems to waste 1 Ricky’s MOV, and wants to go rightwards to get the shield – so it seems OK to peek the room to the right.
Plan: Get the last chest as safe as possible
I refuse to trip at the finish line here. If we want that locked chest so bad we have the time and resources to obtain it without relying on an enemy Onion to do what we want.
Kamau: Interpose corn.
Ricki: Trade your Venom Gland and Venom blade to Botania. Take the flower from her.
Botania: Store your shield on Golly and take out the staff. Give Flower to Ricki.
IX: If Corn Knights attack. Stab one
Pets: If Corn Knights attack. attack the same one as IX.
Next turn: Ricki eats cauliflower to make more room and Botania uses Gravity staff to make the onion fall out of the dungeon.
Turn after Ricki loots and jumps off the ledge.
Lets befriend the corn knights. I’d rather Ix takes a peaceful approach next turn, instead of assuming a fighting stance.
Edit: And one more thing. IF we manage to make peace with the corn knights, we should ask them to release the last of Botanya’s brothers. For the principle of it. I know we have no time to go searching for the little guy.
Sadly Cant edit. But Ix should only attack if they attack us.
Ultimately, I think this is going to be more of a Drider thing where we’ll have the chance recruit them with a manor upgrade later rather than in-dungeon.

We have four turns before a castle drops on top of us. Our inventory is full. Why not just cheese it instead of wasting time, resources, and putting everyone at great risk when the exit is literally right here?
