Dungeon 16 Turn 4

Kamau, Ix, and the pets defeat the remaining corn knight. The enemies drop two longswords, two heavy shields, a double crossbow, and eight bolts. Botanya picks up the crossbow, the bolts, and a shield. While she does this, Ricki gets her attention to point out something important.
“Hey Botanya, there’s a cage down by that giant angry carrot with a flytrap in it. I think it might be one of the ones from the farm.”
“what”
“Any idea why it would be up here? In a cage?”
“they shouldn’t be up here”
“those good good boys were rooted there’s no soil up here”
“i need to get closer to see what’s going on”




Plan: Prep for carrot bait
Credit to que for the idea. Sadly we cant use Toaster, but Botania should work
Deliberatly trying not to rush as we have a bad track record for making big mistakes early in dungeons. Also playing it super safe.
Ricki: Move left and tell the team about how the carrot charges and the plan to use the Chameleon gloves to climb under the clouds and bait the carrot off the edge.
Kamau: Move left and tie your rope around botania for safety. Hold on to the other end.
Botania: drop the heavy shield down the ladder. See if it can provoke the carrot to charge. Move left after.
Ix: Move left. Move left. Lens the flying onion/turnip
Idea is for Botania to never be in range of carrot and to climb from the flower under the platform and bait the carrot to charge her with the Chameleon gloves. Sadly we cant do it this turn because of movement shortage.

Don’t let botanya closer. That looks like a secondary objective. Let’s finish the primary objective before we do side quests.
