Ix and Kamau continue to hold the line against the potential advance of the corn knights, but they continue to hold their positions for now. Princess gets antsy and bites the lettuce again, tearing away another layer leaves and revealing… something. Botanya quickly goes back down the ladder to retrieve another corn spear before returning to the rest of the group.
Ricki darts past the lettuce and squeezes through the hold in the wall, emerging in the crawlspace below. She uses all of her thieves tools (expending two) to open the triple locked chest and quickly snatches up the incredible treasure she finds there. As she does, the imp nearby turns and speaks to her.
“Hey, if you’re interested in that stone, I could—”
Remembering the warnings she’s received before, Ricki hurries back through the hole before the imp can say anything else.

Tool/Treasure
An orb that generates sunlight. Twice per dungeon, it can be used to power Bloom spells. While it has at least one charge remaining, it can be held in one hand to provide light and provide +1 to any numerical effects (such as damage or stat bonuses) of holy element items or magic (such as wands or holy water).

Corn is staying put so we make ourselves a salad.
Kamau: Interpose lettuce.
Ricki: attack lettuce (no gland)
Ix: attack lettuce
Princess, shroom, golly, toaster: attack lettuce.
Everyone combined does 35 dmg which beats its 32 to one shot.
Posted this on discord but wanted to share some ideas to extend the dungeon timer. Curious to get your thoughts:
Healing plant to negate some of the chopping?
Using sun stone to make giant flower grow more?
maybe botanya can turn summoned flytraps into extra parachute? we already know of 3/4 parachutes for 10 extra turns right?
I like that idea. I think that has a higher success chance than my ideas.
She only bloomed the caged ones because they wouldn’t survive long either way, I think she would take objection to this. Or not because she’s kinda utilitarian.

Soon! I think we need take take out the lettuce since it will get a swipe before we leave otherwise
Actually, despite how cute the lettuce looks, we know it’s very aggressive. If we go now for the corn, it’s almost sure the lettuce will follow us, and even if we avoid the weak-floor, the lettuce will step on and fall into it. I really doubt it has the intelligence and/or agility to avoid it.
And if we exit the combat with lettuce, lettuce will get a free hit on us. So even if it doesn’t follow us, we’re get the damage anyways.

when suggesting to fight enemies, make sure to check their damage on enemies page and compare with our def first. these corn have 7 base attack + 3 from weapon each so 3 of them can kill anyone except Kamau. so Kamau needs to interpose instead of attacking.

Sunstone look like a Botanya item so she can pick it up next turn since she cant fight anyway. Lens can be used from floor on imp by Ricki later.
Botanya: Drop lens. Go tell lettuce to chill out.
Kamau: Interpose lettuce.
Ricki: Drop sunstone at bottom of right ladder. Go attack lettuce (no gland)
