Dungeon 14 Turn 25
————
Ricki and Kamau advance to the next battle! The dragon tamers launch their crossbow bolts at both Ricki and the floor trigger, but Ricki’s fingers work faster and disarm the pressure plate, negating whatever effect it may have had. Kamau then charges up the ladder and heavily strikes one of the tamers down and grievously wounds the other, while the dragon rider is unable to deal any damage to either hero.
Below, Macadamia passes through the room on his way to the lower areas of the dungeon, while Botanya lingers to somehow provide light for Kamau’s benefit. She also considers whether she can extend the fuse on the bomb she carries, but she lacks the necessary knowledge. She’d fear to somehow spoil the bomb’s effectiveness, so she leaves it as it is.
Ricki returns to the previous room. It seems as though Paws has vacated the dungeon.
Macadamia blows on his tyrant horn. It doesn’t seem to do anything, as far as he can tell.
Plan: Keep going
Kamau: Attack the wounded Tamer Cultist. Cleave the rider after.
Botania: Stay put and keep lighting up the room for Kamau
Ricki: Move left. Move Right (lower). Pick up stack of Meat. Use your view of mac’s room to note which direction King is going.
Mac: Move Up. Move Left. Drop your gold with the other gold. Drop a stack of meat as well. Pick up Press and put on Golly. Pick up shocktail, and both sets of silver rings.
Tamer and Rider together could hurt Ricki if she tries to attack or scout. So we are letting Kamau thin them first.
Basic fight plan moving forward is have Kamau engage and thin numbers as much as he can with mac on ranged, then have Mac and Ricki join in melee to finish them off while he interposes. Mac loots any silver rings we find.
I’m now wondering if the horn will work as intended without a baby Deathboy to join the cry.
