Amadeusz, Ricki, and one of the few remaining mushrooms team up to take down one of the guards so the room stays a little safer. They take no damage in response, not even from the uppity wisp.
Lara runs to the entrance and attacks the justiciar there. She deals no damage, but she doesn’t take any either. She also suffers the justiciar’s debuff yet again.
So far so good. Justicar should either buff or try to attack Lara. We probably have another turn or 2.
Amad: mend elemental.
Ricki. Recruit elemental. Say you’re here to help and will get them out but need them to follow your directions to keep them safe.
Lara: look as weak as possible and bite the justicar again.
What if the last guard attack the elemental?
They won’t attack him anymore. The elemental is down on the floor. IIRC, for all purposes so far, anybody lying down was considered dead/K.O. and out of combat and not attackable.
But we heal him so he is gonna get up (I hope)
This is actually a valid point. He is the least armored one here.
He can’t be targeted the turn he gets up. After that we can mend again and pray he has 2 def base

Small tweak to Claudious’ plan
Lara will have 16 def next turn. Patrol will do 14 if justiciar beam or 10 if justiciar buff.
I think she should unequip shield to be at 12 def so she will take 2 damage and heal for 3 if justiciar beam. Taking actual damage will sell it better, they dont know her armor heals her.

No, she’ll have 14 def. The frostbite debuff will have worn off, but the justiciar’s debuff lasts until they’re defeated.
Unequipping shield will take Lara down to 10 def, so assuming your dmg numbers are correct for the patrol, if justiciar beams that’s a net 1 hp loss for her after the armor’s healing effect.
Sorry, I meant she have 16 base def and counted justiciar’s buffs and debuffs as part of what the guards are doing.
Like, sword guards are 3 each and justiciar can beam for 6 and has debuffed Lara for 2 so total is 14.
If you count debuff as part of Lara, she’ll have 10 without shields and guards can do 12(3+3+6) or 8(3+5)
I wonder if the keys hanging by the scientists downstairs unlock that collar …
Yup could be it. Totally possible, totally in scope of the plot/theme (tank/lab/scientists/captive/collar/keys). But if the collar needs just simple-looking keys, then Ricky can unleash her tricks on it, and I guess she can do it even outside of the dungeon.
