Dungeon 13 Turn 52
————
Ricki briefly runs to the top right room, picks up the death arrow that was left there, then returns to the top middle room.
Amadeusz enters the bottom middle room, then uses his enchantment scroll. He makes a sacrifice of 5 HP in order to permanently enchant the shocktail javelin with the deadly element. This powerful new weapon is even better now!
Lara runs past the two solar guardians, taking 2 damage from their attacks on the way, and enters the next room.
Lara looks over the collection of parts and tools on the table, considers taking some of them, but ultimately comes to the same conclusion Ricki did; they’re no use as they are now, at least not to anyone in the party. She leaves them where they are.
Cordy walks to the right and continues to be bored because nothing is happening. Nothing at all. Nothing to see here, no sir.
…Sure is loud, though.
I’m going to post a turn tomorrow to make up for fewer being posted this week!
Clearly this is the most popular command
Alright! Let’s get in on that action and see what the heart can do. 3 turns till new patrol
Make a friend and get in position to help. 3 turns left before new patrol
Ricki: down. Heart big boi from as far as you can
Lara: Left, action left.
Amadeusz: Left, action up.
Cordy: drink holy res potion
Depending on what happens when we use heart, we may need to clear the patrol before we can recruit. Let’s get everyone within striking distance so we can make this happen everyone!
Another reason I want everyone close is that it takes 3 of us to just down the justicar and Ricki shouldn’t be one since she has low def and hp
Should be “Ricki: down”. She moved left after picking up the arrow this turn
Fixed. Thanks
Where’s the bad decision guy when we need him
You guys are doing just fine on your own this dungeon.
Even if this monster can stand its ground, it can’t defeat patrols faster than they arrive. I’m also concerned the heart is going to make it weaker, because it has to turn into a playable character at some point
Lara: left, action left (to the top sub-room)
Amad: left, action up. Wear a big helmet.
Ricki: down. case Justiciar. Stay our if sight, meditate on values of friendship vs gold
Cordy: drink the holy res pot (otherwise not safe for him to fight)
Next turn we defeat the justiciar:
Amad, Cordy, 6 present mushies: get Justiciar (26 damage, enough to OHKO)
RIcki: use heart / or stay safe
Lara: finally arrive
Sound a good. Even without her her armor, Lara can still contribute some damage safely
You could have amad drop the spear this turn and Lara pick it up next. With no armor and the tower shield, she can wield the spear with a def of like 10
Ahh crap sorry, I thought Ricki just prioritized the lockpicks when she tried since they were immediately useful and was out of inventory for the rest, not that we cant loot them at all. 🙁
Oh the plus side, the way this battle is positioned looks really good for us?
Like, I thought they would fight in the middle since they both enter the room at same time. But with new friend far from ladder like this, I think we actually CAN go beat up justiciar without getting hit by new friend or weakening him with heart.
And I think its actually safe for Cordy cuz Justiciar only do 5 because Sick said 6 with this math https://dungeoneyes.com/dungeon-13-turn-51/#comment-16683 but dog had +1 atk from human owner for 3 total, not 2.Edit: Nevermind Amad debuffed the dog back to 2
Hang on, I’m gonna go check everything with discord first tho, dont wanna risk proposing another plan with a mistake. Should have been doing that more >.<
These intelligent enemies keep screwing us whenever they can. We can’t accurately assume what they are going to not focus cordy so let’s play it safe and wait for the group
I meant if justiciar did 5 then they do 11 total and Cordy can survive that even if they focus fire. But anyway, I forgot about Amad debuff as pointed out in discord so its really 6 so the idea doesn’t work 🙁
Plan similar to Nekpot’s but Lara has time to carry out Ricki for the win even if she grab the crow room chest so she go for it.
The downside is that if new friend has more things we need to do to recruit after heart and talk, we could use having Lara in middle earlier, especially if new friend keeps missing the guards.
I think this plan could be worth it because that trap chest protect nothing other than itself with the way it’s in a corner so it definitely has cool loot on top of the (magic?) arrows.
Also, new friend is already super hard to recruit with needing 4 switches all over dungeon AND dealing with monster form AND new dungeon parameters so I dont think its super likely theres more requirements on top.
Ricki: Move down. Case justiciar
Cordy: Drink your potion
Lara: Move left, action move right(on bottom floor)
Amad: Move left. Action move up. Wear heavy helmet
Ideas for future:
54
Ricki heart new friend
Cordy and Amad and mushies beat up Justiciar
Lara loot crow room chest(ceiling walk to avoid pressure plate). Move left.
55
New patrol at entrance
Cordy and Amad help new friend finish guards
Ricki talk to new friend if needed. Get carried by Lara to ceiling
Lara move left, up(eyes on new new patrol). Action move right. Carry Ricki and end turn on left edge of middle ceiling
56
Lara carry Ricki to entrance and out over the patrol’s nose with ceilling walk. WIN!!
New patrol (super?)justiciar zap at Ricki/Lara for no damage. Melee guards wave swords uselessly from the ground.
I think you mean for Lara to move left, and then right into the trapped chest room.
Fixed, thank you!
Chest is cool n all but why not kiling boss crow insted for sick AF magic drops
most probably that would be a waste of time since we know boss-crow is some sort of intelligent being, it gave us quest and tried to communicate with us in this dungeon, so most probably we would just waste a turn trying to attack it and hearing from Ricky that it’s a no-no
I guess that is an option but some people said green crows could, like, stun or something so I am feeling paranoid >.<
Carrying over the patrol is dicey since the exit is a ground level. They can still get a shot in before dungeon end
Huh? The exit is 2 floor tall and leads out the side of a hill.
https://dungeoneyes.com/intermission-12-page-18/
Like, Ricki and Lara reach the outside by walking out on the upper side of the exit which flips them upright when they cross it, pointing toward the top of the hill. We never touch the ground level at all?
What other exit method are you thinking we should do? Walking through patrol from the ground is just suicide.
I meant the dungeon exit is within melee range of any guards in that room. So they could still attack us before we exit
Offer big minty boy a hug.
