Lara heads to the right and stings a wisp to oblivion. She takes no damage from the counterlasers.
Ricki moves right and uses her two lockpicks to open two locks on the extremely locked chest. She throws one of the lockpicks away, but keeps the other one for some reason.
Cordy uses the wand of heal to recover 3 of their HP.
Amadeusz gets some distance, then expends the fireball crowstone to set off the bomb. If explodes, destroying everything in the vicinity from the floor to the loose items nearby. Hope nobody wanted that stuff!
Cordy and Amadeusz head down the hole that has now opened up.
A group of strange kobolds is startled by the appearance of a werewolf and a walking mushroom.
We don’t really have the time or resources to clear this room. Shame. Our goal is still new char and getting out alive.
Ricki: unlock the chest. Move left. Use red pipe to go bottom right room.
Lara: kill an ice wisps.
Cordy: attack the kobold whip wielderone of cordy’s shrooms: attack a sword kobold.
Amad: loot the chest under the kobolds. Drop the ice stone if need be. Move up after.
Assuming kobolds have mac’s stats as a base, that should only be 7 dmg (9 if they hit amad). Cordy can tank that. If that kobold drops a green robe it could be healing but taking them all down would be iffy. Amad still needs to scoop up scroll and staff
They hold lightning wands, they may zap Cordy into oblivion.
The Longswords?
Loot closely at their other hand, each kobolb hold a wand and wearing a robe that probably boots dmg with the associate element.
I think those might be their tails, actually.
yeah. wands are usually two-part. brown stick and colored head. there’s no head here, unless the kobolds hold the wands by the head (lol, go for it!), but even so, the sticks colored? nah, not wands
OK now i see it, i was thinking the tail is colored stick and the belt the head of the wand.

We don’t need the staff anymore, at least not to fulfill the dungeon goal. But the scroll’s good loot.
Why are we sending Ricki back to the bottom right room?

Im here from the first page, but have no idea what will happen if Cordy and Wolf will immediately leave this room, will the kobolds have time to hit them with the wands?
I wonder as well. Formally, the enemies are only alerted, and combat has not started yet. I think we’ve had once a situation when Ricky entered, an enemy got a “!” and Ricky exited immediately on the next turn, and we got no damage report, but I wouldn’t count on it.
I’d guess that if they GTFO immediately, then no attack follows unless kobolds decide to chase. But if we i.e. try to go right, jump over the gap, loot the chest, jump over the gap again, and exit the room, all without attacking the kobolds – I bet that we’ll get a kick in the ass from this PokemonArena hosts .
Alert enemies with a ! Mean they will attack next turn if we don’t leave immediately. We could fall back without consequences.

Re:kobolds+monsters
This looks to me like a deciding battle between two groups of cultists, whose monster-god is the best, which one perishes, which one takes all the kobolds?
I don’t know if we have time to deal with those kobolds, but that chest is OPEN (and also, heh, rope) so Lara could simply take a right route and then wall-walk to that chest and loot it. Ah, but kobolds are “!” so whatever.
If we had another bomb, grenade, or a crate-of-crowstones, we could probably deal with those creatures safely from afar. Unless they can breathe. Who knows. A poison/shield from a tortoise’s shell, a polearm or sword from ice lizard’s tail. That sounds useful. But very costly in time.
Maybe Amad could drop a meat in between the monsters below, to stir them up and start the monster-x-monster battle? It should be possible to get them fight each other somehow?
If we are going to engage the monsters, and I think we should, I’d have Ricki lens the turtle first, so we learn if it has any ability to heal itself or the lightning lizard, in case they are buddies.
Dropping the meat is a good idea, maybe they’ll fight over food, or move to the center of the room, making it easy to target them from above. And then we can just unleash all the venom barrages and inferno stones and magic missiles on one of them and then climb down to smack the other.
We have till Turn50/60 to figure it out (Patrols come every 20 Turns,& historically,shit hit the fan at 50).That’s enough time to come up with a plan.If we need help for those 2 minibosses,then we can lead the Elementalist (Quincy?) and/or the Cursed Owlbear down there.
I suggest we unlock the chest,then get the keys from those scientists behind the door.

Not getting the items from the kobolds and the monsters is a mistake, in my opinion. If the brown/green robe is a “healing dragon robe”, you can all imagine how useful that is.
And then there is the “dragons” themselves. Fire shield from the salamander, uber poison hood from the cobra. It is a shame to dismiss the rewards here.

Kobalts are scary. They exactly one shot Ama if they have >=2 base atk (or 1 base and some bonus to friends).
