Dungeon 13 Turn 35
————
Ricki heads through the red pipe and over to the table she saw previously with her Dungeon Eyes. She picks up the thieves’ tools off the table, but decides to leave the stick and glass ball where they are for now since she can’t think of any immediate use for them. Maybe there’s something somewhere else that will change that.
Cordy runs past the wolves (which have been slightly weakened by Amadeusz’ presence) and opens the chest they guard. Inside is another new staff, with two charges! It doesn’t seem useful to Cordy, but someone else might be able to use it later.
Amadeusz eats some more meat and recovers 3 HP. Both he and Cordy then head left to the room that has a bomb in it now. Ricki heads back through the pipe to the bottom left room she started in.
Lara returns to the central room and slaps another torch off the wall, plunging the room into darkness. Look how dark it is. So, so dark.

STAFF OF ANIMATION
Staff
Can target a nearby environmental skeleton to animate it into a pet for the rest of the dungeon. Can only be used once per dungeon.
Weight 1, Cost 12 per charge
Plan: get things done
Lara: move right. Equip tower shield and sting a fire wisp
Ricki: move right and use both picks on triple locked chest.
Cordy: use wand of healing on yourself. Move down after explosion
Amad: stand far back and use non-aoe fire stone in bomb. Move down through the floor after.
We have a 3/4 chance of keeping at least one lockpick for the final lock on chest. Then Ricki is still in range of the last lever after .
Amad is on loot pickup duty. 3 different spots to go. If we want cordy to help, might be worth dropping something he has
yay fireworks!
edit: I think “use both picks” may not work, picking a single lock is a full action I think.. but worth trying!
edit2: I think not all MOV is used up, consider sending someone down the hole to take a peek what’s down there once the dust settles. We will save a turn that way. Otherwise we will spend next turn ‘discovering’ it and wont be able to act yet.
We can use as many picks to open as many locks as we have in one turn That said, we can’t use lockpicks that we may or may not have from careful thief at the same time sonit will take another action after

So I don’t know if you read my reply 2 pages ago but:
Did it really look like spam?I had a Youtube tab opened right next to THIS comic,& when I saw Stampy upload,I just wanted to gush about my fond memories (especially since Stampy ENDED his series after a WHOPPING 800 episodes & 10 years, not made better by dozens of other people quitting, like Tom Scott or MatPat).
—It is possible for Amy to stall his turn till AFTER the bomb is used, then move down & use a crowstone against any possible enemy?
Won’t Ricki aggro the solar guardians?
No, why would she?
I really don’t know.
Last turn’s most upvoted comment tells her to go back left through the pipe after pick8ng up the stuff from the table. The text here doesn’t acknowledge that. And then I was pretty sure that the comment here was for Ricki to move left, not right.
Anyway, if all is good, all is good.
As cool as the Crowstones are,it might be impractical to bring them to the next dungeon. If they don’t count for the “100G worth of magic loot” Goal, just spam them at enemies.
Why couldn’t we have used the torch to light up the fuse on the bomb?
Also, the staff does say ENVIRONMENTAL.Does that mean non-animated skeletons,or just ANY skeleton (either way Coccyx might not like it).
Again:5 turns till another patrol, this one will be tougher.on Turn 50 or 60,we’ll have to run from a patrol that’s likelx unbeatable.Remember that freaky Owlbear is still an option.
How many pipes were flipped? What’s happening to the elementalist?
Something weird I’ve realised:
We previously met several short skeletons, presumably gnomes.
Yet for some reason,we haven’t met many ALIVE gnomes, especially in the Empire’s employ (try saying that 3 times fast).
Who’s making all these Ricki-sized holes-in-the-walls?
Short skeletons are probably kobolds, or maybe goblins.
No no,I remember seeing skeleton kobolds,& they have a distinct muzzle.
Don’t know why I keep getting downvotes.THAT comment wasn’t even a suggestion for any character.
I love how Cordys little mushrooms all seek shelter from the ice wolves breath attack in his helmet. Adorable!
