Dungeon 12 Turn 54

Cordy finishes off the egg sac, taking 1 unblockable poison damage in the process but clearing up the poison nearby. They then move down to the room below.
Lara attacks a second egg sac, destroying it and taking 2 damage (including 1 from the nearby very surprising crab) before returning to the nearby air pocket.
Amadeusz drops his fishing rod and picks up the arrows and thieves’ tools instead. He prefers spearfishing anyway.
Ricki senses danger and swims back to where she left the bucket of poison. A few moments later, her Dungeon Eyes show her a swarm of skeletal fish entering the room. Close call!
Ricki also considers using a skull as a disguise to throw the fish off her trail, like the crabs do, but unfortunately she isn’t small enough to hide all the way inside one.
Plan: Wait
It’s gonna be at least 2 turns of waiting before Ricki can move. Ideally we wait until Lara or Cordy get eyes on them in the upper rooms. We have until like Turn 58 to move.
Ricki: Eat your mushroom.
Cordy: Move up and grab a coin from the isolated pool where the first source was.
Lara and Amad: Wait
When Ricki crosses, she can grab a coin and end her turn with the skeletons. It gets her out of LOS if the skelefish move down and the coin will let her leave the skeletons without risk of another turn of possibly taking dmg from them (5+3 < 9). We just need to wait for that one turn the Fish are far enough away.
Ricki: Think back to 5 minutes ago and realize what you did wrong. Maintain position.
Lara: Maintain position.
Cordy: Move back up, grab a coin.
Lara: Maintain position.

No reason to waste another shroom. If Ricki grabs a coin on the way to the bottom left, she’ll be able to tank all the damage.

Way back when, KingMarth calculated the base damage of a reinforced skeleton at 2. I’ll post the link to his notes in a separate comment.
Was he wrong? Because if he was right, then Ricki would take 8 damage, not 5, in the event she got hit by all three skeletons.

RSkeletons gave 2 Atl each, reduced by 1 each because of underwater penalties. One of them also has a sword. (2-1) + (2-1) + (2+2-1) = 5.
Poison Water damage is 3 per room.

We lose eyes on Cordy’s Room so we might have MIA fish when we try to send Ricki Left. Ideally we should have SOME idea where they are since they’ll be moving 2-3 spaces
On turn 56, the fish will start by moving to the bottom middle. Then they can either continue right in which case Ricki will see them, or start making their way up in which case I think turn 57 is the best turn to move.
It is the best because they are so fast. Like, compare waiting for a turn where they end up at Cordy’s current room. If we move Ricki the turn after, the fish will have turned around the dead end and can actually reach Ricki in the skeleton room with 3 moves.
And its not like we can wait for long anyway. We REALLY need to be gone before the turn 60 shenanigans happens.
What’s the plan for killing the 4th Barnacle?Can Ricki do it solo?She CAN deal enough DMG,but if not,I don’t know how we can send a 2nd party member to help.
I hope that when we finish this dungeon, Lara has a Level Up option to restore her speech. It doesn’t even have to have practical dungeon benefits. Just now she has the option to speak. DnD lore supports driders that can talk. It would be worth it.
I think even Cordy is able to communicate more info than Lara,despite lacking a mouth.
I’m more curious about a way to completely reverse the curse.Maybe through something equally divine?
Do we guide all the characters to the rope while we have Ricki solo-kill the 4th barnacle?
I think it’s a stupid thought,but it’s also stupid to have Lara swim down INTO THE SWARMFISH’S PATH just to help Ricki kill the Barnacle.
