Amadeusz returns to the room above, then he, Ricki, and Lara each pick up a wish coin from the ground. To help make room, Lara drops the raw meat she just picked up and Amadeusz drops his potion. Meanwhile, Cordy offers one of their mushrooms to Pet Master in exchange for a pet egg.
“NEVER!”
“Each of my PETS is my beloved PARTNER, even those that haven’t hatched yet!”
“I have RAISED them!”
“TRAINED them!”
“Drawn questionable FANART of them!”
“I’ll NEVER turn one of them over to you!”
“…Unless you beat me in a PET BATTLE in which case you can have a PET EGG if you want.”
Cordy sends the new mushroom to Lara instead.
At the end of the turn, Ricki sees that a new egg sac has formed, seemingly out of stray particles in the water! It spreads its poison throughout the water, once again rendering it potentially deadly.
See I was wondering how they would respawn if something had to be laying them. Dungeons don’t make any sense and don’t have to

Well,atleast it’s in the same area!And Cordy & Ricki can just destroy it from range!
So,plan:
Cordy:drink potion
WereAmy:snack on that meat
Lara:Kill barnacle that just spawned.
Ricki:Borrow Cordy’s wand & hood while he’s healing,give him Shield.Sting the barnacle.
Trading is an action for both characters, so Ricki can’t both trade items and sting. Also, can’t Lara just kill it by herself?

Sure,but I can’t recall how many hits with a Siegesword it woult take to kill the barnacle,even if she might be immune to the poison,she’s already taken a lot of damage…
I was also curious if she would be better used to attack the undead Swarmfish below us.

Since the worst is now behind us,& it’s likely the dungeon could be completed in the next 5 turns,I’ve taken the liberty of copy-pasting the gang’s previous LVL-ups .That way,you’re all familiarised with the options we have after this gungpile i mean dungeon.
Lara doesn’t get a list,because I don’t know how being a drider affects her new abilities…
My vote is for BACKSTAB,RESSURECT,and MUSHROOMBOMB

RICKI
Ambush I: +1 Atk when attacking a target that hasn’t interacted with a character previously.
Backstab I: +1 Atk when attacking a target an ally is also attacking.
Comforting Weight: +1 Def for each full stack of Gold Coins carried.
Crossbow Proficiency: +1 damage when wielding a crossbow or similar weapon.
Dagger Proficiency: +1 Atk when wielding a dagger or similar weapon.
Dodgy I: Incoming attacks have a 10% chance to miss.
Improvisation: Can use any type of dagger in place of Thieves’ Tools. Daggers always break when used this way.
Poison Use (Lara Bond): Can use venom when attacking.
Sneaky I: Once per dungeon can become undetectable by enemies until end of turn. Can’t be carrying any item of weight 3 or higher while sneaking.
Steal I: Once per dungeon in place of attacking, can try to take one item from an enemy. An item that is carried but not wielded or worn has a 100% chance to be taken successfully. An item that is held or worn has only a 50% chance to be taken successfully. Items have a -10% chance to be taken for each point of weight heavier than 1.
Trap Detection III: Can spot well hidden traps and point them out to allies. Automatically avoid poorly hidden traps.
AMADEUSZ
Bloodlust: +1 Atk against creatures not at full HP while in werewolf form.
Bonelust: +1 Atk against skeletons while in werewolf form.
Energetic Jig : Self and allies in the room recover 1 HP.
Heroic Ballad : Allies in the room have +1 Atk and Def this turn.
Howl: Can use abilities in werewolf form, but each counts as one additional use and no instrument can be used.
Langourous Waltz : Enemies in the room have -1 Atk and Def this turn.
Light Armour Proficiency: +1 Def when wearing armour with a base Def bonus of +2 or less.
Light Sword Proficiency: +1 Atk when wielding a longsword or similar weapon.
Musical II: Can use three abilities per dungeon if holding an instrument.
Requiem of Resurrection : Revives a dead ally in the same room with 1 HP. Counts as three uses. Used automatically if Ricki dies, if possible.
Rend I: When dual wielding gain a 20% chance to deal +2 damage.
Shaggy I: While in werewolf form, 30% chance to gain a +2 bonus to Def each turn.
Shapeshift II: Can transform into werewolf form and back once per dungeon each. Werewolf form has +4 Atk and +2 Def, but cannot use weapons, shields, armour, or Song abilities.
Tooth And Nail II: Each empty hand counts as a +2 Atk weapon while in werewolf form.
Wolf Speed: +1 Mov in werewolf form.
Wound Closure: While in werewolf form, recover 1 HP at the start of each turn if below 5 HP.
CORDY
new ability from this list:
Bud: If not accompanied by another pet, start the dungeon with a Little Mushroom.
Hazard Spores: If HP is reduced by an attack, releases spores that deal 1 unblockable area poison damage to enemies. If one or more organic creatures are killed by this damage, a new Little Mushroom is created.
Loyal Minions: When attacked lethally can make a pet the target of the attack instead. Smaller Mushrooms will be chosen first.
Mushroom Master II: Can have 3 additional pets, but can only have Mushrooms as pets.
Regrowth: If killed, is replaced by a Little Mushroom.
Rot: Can bypass poison immunity.
Spore Bomb: Can sacrifice an owned or nearby Mushroom pet to make a ranged area attack that deals poison damage equal to the pet’s remaining HP.
Spore Touch II: Can sacrifice 1 HP when attacking to deal +1-3 poison damage.
I don’t see any point in discussing this now. We had a big discussion about party composition on the D11 report page, and then when it was actually time to vote on who to take to this dungeon (I11P5), we picked a different party and lots of people were annoyed. Pasting all the options here is not helpful. Please don’t do it again next turn.
I didn’t intend to.I just thought not everyone would like flipping through the archive to see the options.
Unless we’re abandoning (which doesn’t seem needed at the second, and is hard to convince people to do regardless) I don’t think we’re finishing within 5 turns.
Think about it:
1 – inventory shuffle/healing, kill respawned egg sac
2 – kill skelliefish
3 – take down barrier and pufferfish
4 – destroy next barrier, kill egg sac, explore next room?
5 – deal with what’s in the next room, which is probably going to be the big boy of the dungeon (unless there are more rooms). That’s not going to be a 1-turn deal.
I didn’t say EXACTLY 5 turns,obviously we’ll try to grab the chest guarded by the frog,& anything else that hasn’t been picked up from the floor of this place.
If we want the frog chest, it’ll be another 7 turns (average) on top of what I already mentioned. We would need to have Ricki solo enemies with paralysis.
Also, assuming we don’t get any new options, my votes would be:
Ricki: Improve dodgy, if possible. If not, Sneaky I.
Reasoning: With how high dodge is stacking, it’s getting to be extremely valuable. As for Sneaky, there have been a lot of cases (like the frog/ghoul room here) where this would have saved us a lot of effort.
Ama: Energetic Jig (unless we want to run him as a combat character, then Tooth and Nail II)
Reasoning: Requiem of Resurrection is a trap option. It takes all 3 Musical uses and can’t be used in Wolf form. That means it costs 2 feats and prevents us from using any musical abilities, thus preventing Ama from being a viable support, and preventing us from running him as Wolf, thus preventing him from being a viable combatant. It’s effectively giving up all bond for the dungeon and 1/2 of a character slot to have a Phoenix Feather on hand. I can see why it looks tempting, but it’s more worth just bringing a healer or tank or AoE or almost anything else so we don’t die in the first place.
Cordy: Mushroom Master III, if available.
Reasoning: This is effectively +1 attack and defense, and an extra pet that can attack for 1 damage, and +1 labor/dungeon. So long as this option is available, it is the best option by an obscene degree. Mushroom Bomb is a decent pick it it’s already maxed.
Atleast SOMEONE is considering my ideas,even uf I likely got ANOTHER dislike from that!

Lara: Drop your coin with the rest of the items. Kill Newly Spawned Poison Source
Ricki: Case the Beaver.
Amad: Eat the meat off the floor. If it’s on the ground, it goes to the hound.
Cordy: Drink the potion off the floor. Not the one you’re carrying
We dont want to take 2 rooms of damage so We’re just getting some health back while Lara kills the source. The Beaver case is on the off off chance we find a pet that can attack in the water later.
Next Turn: All + mushy attack fish.
Turn after that: Barricade falls and lara and Cordy pop the puffers.
Someone already pointed out to me that Ricki already used her Case ability 10+ tirns ago…unless you mean a Lens?Because we used both aswell.
Besides that,I like your plan.The first turn is even similar to mine.
Case can be used once per dungeon on a chest, unlimited times on NPCs.
Oh,so it being blacked-out doesn’t mean it’s unusable?Huh.Well,either way,Case only works for items correct?It’s NOT just an infinite Lens ability.
Yes, it reveals items and all info on those items if that’s the first time we see them. It does not reveal stats/skills/lore on the npc.
