Dungeon 2 Turn 49
————
Ricki throws the lever on the pipe, then hangs out in the room afterwards to make sure Kamau can see while fighting. The snale is then swiftly decapitated, dropping another cheap ale.
Kamau then leaves two empty mugs behind to make room for that new ale and for Ricki’s torch. He also picks up the two rat tails lying on the ground.
Drunks coming down next turn.
Ricki: move up ladder then right past the large glass patch.
Kamau: move up ladder and Carry Ricki across large glass patch with boots on.
Watch for glass and mousetrap.
I think we should have kamau intercept and knock out the next group of drunks while Ricki fills mugs. If it’s cheese we should go hole exploring or deal with rat king
We can actually have the chars move two rooms, according to the “how to play” page here: https://dungeoneyes.com/how-to-play/
Ricki and Kamau: move up a room and right a room. Avoid all glass (have Kamau lift Ricki as needed) and the trap on the way.
Kamau: give Ricki the armour back.
Ricki: equip the armour.
IRL I would do it the other way round (exchange armor, then move: we do not know what awaits us), but probably here it makes no difference.
Also:
Ricki: Pick up an empty mug from this room, since it looks like your inventory has an empty spot (two daggers, cheap ale, and rusty sword). Mind the glass if you grab the one on the lower part of this room, but Kamau should’ve left one on this side of the hole in the floor when taking the torch back. Trade that mug back to Kamau when putting armor on.
We could technically bring more mugs along by leaving behind some items to pick up again later, but I am loathe to leave useful or valuable things unattended.
Just repeating my thought form the previous turn: If we want to try the cheez-mugs, we might want to drop some other item(s) here, close the grate (we have the keys!), grab the mug(s) from here and/or from the floor below, and head upstairs to the tap. If “cheez in mug” distracts rats for 1 round (as cheese does), Ricki might need two mugs to get behind two dire rats and might not be able to pick up the empty mugs on her return voyage, but might need more than one trip to open the grate (afterwards the keys can go to Kamau again), fetch the loot from the two chests, ingest or take with her the cheap ale, get the broken glass in(to) the bucket and fetch the broom, not to mention the rusty broad sword there.
On the other hand, we can just try cheezing the rats and later fetch the empty mugs if needed.
