Dungeon 16 Turn 45
————

The party decides it’s time to get their heads out of the clouds and be more down to earth. They start running towards the flower before it gets cut down and/or a giant stone fortress falls on them. Botanya lags behind the rest of the party a bit.

Ix ties his rope to a ladder again, knowing that the room below isn’t safe to cross anymore without one. Ricki, being a little quicker than everyone else, climbs down first.

…And she finds the corn general, now joined by two more corn knights, and with Golly tucked under one arm! It looks like they’re guarding the flower for some unknown reason, blocking the exit!
They notice Ricki immediately. The general points and gives a silent order to its minions, who advance on Ricki to unleash a special attack!

In an act of blatant psychological warfare, one of the corn knights presents Ricki with a bunch of candy. But it’s all candy corn! Disgusting!!
Ricki has acquired a Pile of Spooky Candy. Happy Halloween!

I love that I’m wrong all the time.
Noo you were right all along >.<
We should had Ix peek down like you said 4 turns ago and saved a whole lot of time.
I really wanted to see a giant onion helicopter.
aww man candy on kamau a week ago would have made things so much easier
Plan: All in on general
We prolly overkill even without ichor, but better make sure in case general healed more
Kamau: Move down, interpose for everyone
Ricki: Stab general with garg gland and ichor
Ix: Move down. Stab general
Botanya: Move down twice to reunite with Golly and debuff corn
Golly, princess, toaster, mushie: Hit general
Given that we dont know how much General healed or if he took fall damage, We have the time to maximize damage to insure we finish him off.
My Biggest concern: We dont one shot General AND he pushes Kamau off the flower.
In this scenario, Kamau would be fine since he has a flower, but that would leave the other 3 with the general and 2 knights which could get someone killed.
uhh are we doing different math? From mine, with 0 fall damage and including the healing from the spear he ate, general still gets overkilled without ichor.
We saw he didnt touch the other spears and potions on the way so ichor satisfy my paranoia. like, he 100% dies even if he ate two more spears.
Well, he might have gone through the rooms on the right side of the dungeon, which we have not seen yet, and drunk the “Potion of many additional HPs” there. But if he did not, he should be wilted within one round.
But the small clouds on the right side took 0 damage since we last saw them, general would have to touch them if he went that way so we know he went straight down
He might have jumped from the higher floor to the lower floor without using the cloud, but as strategic genius he would have taken those two corn knights with him, so I am with you now: went straight down.
I kind of want to feed Cyx the ichor…
Ooooh.. that actually is a great idea considering november and all
Plan: prep for attack
We don’t know how much general has healed or if he took fall damage when escaping so we’re gonna take a turn to prep ourselves for maximum damage
Ix: pull up the rope so the corn can’t chase Ricki up.
Botania: move down and trade Ricki the spicy broccoli.
Ricki: move up and accept the fire broccoli
Kamau: interpose the room just in case corn or general can get up here.
I should have been more descriptive with ix’s action, he should be pulling up the rope and leaving it coiled on the floor next to the ladder so it can be put down by botania next turn
guys, candy corn is so bad it should damage whoever eats it
(it should still give str and def bonuses just also lower health because, ew, :o)
Don’t give LSN ideas!
heh, sry whoops
right now it is so bad it damages your opponents
..kinda like eating garlic?
Well, seems we know where LSN stands on the candy corn issue. Lol
We want to take the Cauliflailer (and maybe the heavy shield from the room immediately to the right), if (and only if) there is still time after the fight, right?
