Dungeon 11 Turn 3
————
Ricki joins Macadamia in the other room and instructs him to slightly descend the ladder and use his magic lens on the thing he sees down there, preferably without screaming or otherwise alerting it. Meanwhile, Ricki reads the nearby note to see if it gives instructions on how to destroy the giant (or apparently not so giant) machine below.
It does not.
“These holes in the walls seem to show up faster than we can patch them. One of our contractors keeps insisting he needs our spare supplies to keep the golems working, so that will have to take priority.”
The party reconvenes near the entrance to plan their next move. Amadeusz transforms his weapons into a musical instrument.

IMPERIAL GOLEM, MINIATURE
HP: 20
Atk: 8, or 7 holy damage at range
Def: 10
Ability: melee attack hits an area, deals 1 unblockable damage if all damage would otherwise be resisted, immune to holy and poison damage, +5 damage from lightning, +5 Def against fire and ice
Drops: Golem Core
A semi-autonomous golem made to augment the forces of the Imperial Guard. The miniature models lack the raw power of the full-size ones, but are able to operate in smaller spaces such as dungeons. However, they have no intelligence to speak of and will mindlessly attack the closest target they identify as a threat or trespasser unless a handler is nearby to give orders.
Kamau: move to the rat room, kill them all. Start with the red one
Big guy mushroom: punch the first rat in the face to distract it from kamau
Ricki: read a note in rat room, then explore upstairs
Mac: move to explore right from the rat room. (crawl under the rat tables like the Mac you are, just in case)
Ama: move to the rat room, drag table under the key
Kamau: move to the rat room, kill them all. Start with the red one
Big guy mushroom: punch the first rat in the face to distract it from kamau
Ricki: drag a table under the keys, then explore upstairs
Mac: crawl under tables, read the rat room note, explore to the right
Ama: move to the rat room, *become wolf*, drop siegesword
Basically the same as Zuv’s plan, but Ama changes form and drops sword for Mac to pick up later
I just noticed the tiny crevices above the trap in the entrance room. Is that an entirely different trap, or an indication that a column will come down and smash us/block the path? Or is it a hatch for the pigeon to fly away?
Edit: What the hell happened to the windows?
