Hmm, some vines on the walls, plus a large mass of green along that one wall which matches the color of the trees behind the place but is very clearly cut off by the roof. Not too sure what’s going on there, feels a bit like a massive mold stain, or some kind of sludge dripping down with the window hole just above.
The windows are blacked out so there’s no obvious light sources inside, but if we’re exploring above ground then we may get light from outside as they aren’t boarded up with the same color as the door. Friend’s letter did say the estate “on which this dungeon rests” was vacant, so the Dungeon part may just be the basement. There’s no clear signs of other buildings or openings which could lead down to a dungeon.
I wonder if that wall in the second panel is the bounds of the estate or just someone else’s wall they had to jump on the way there.
Since it is fairly good aligned with the window in the roof, it could also be a massive puke stain… (even more impressive, if it didn’t get accumulated over time from multiple pukings – e.g. if the home owner is drinking and puking regularly, and always out of this window – but if it was a the result of a one-time-vomit.)

Hehehe. Happy Halloween.
We just need a nighttime and someone calling Archwarlock Maloysius Dire!
Mac doesnβt deserve to ride our main man Daisy π
Yeah! Ricki needs the ride more because she has lower Base Movement.
Yes, I’m ignoring that Dash makes them have the same movement. Shh! πIt’s more like Mac can’t be trusted to run around in the woods without killing himself
I think it was just the safest option. Daisy will grab him when he inevitably falls.

With how the rules for equipment swaping have changed, plus the rings, we are going to have to be very careful since this screams boss dungeon.
The large mass of green is probably a vine/plant wall or something; it’s just not detailed.

That round window does bring to mind the unfathomable orifice of the Horror of the Deep from Isle of Starlight…
Let’s circle it ones to get its above-ground-layout.
The Rat Vault is in a set of normal, tiny sewer pipes. Dungeons can be bigger on the inside.
