“I’ve learned the location of another old dungeon. It hasn’t been hit by the Empire yet because it’s located far out at sea.”
“It’s a shipwreck that would’ve dissolved into the ocean centuries ago if it hadn’t turned into a dungeon. Nobody seems to know exactly who sailed it out there in first place.”
“It’s supposed to be full of undead and short on breathable air.”
“I think I’m already getting flashbacks to that well…”
“Speaking of flashbacks, you remember that farm you visited? The one with the big flower growing in it?”
“Well, it seems that flower kept right on growing after you left. All the way up out of the dungeon and into the clouds.”
“…And into a second dungeon. No telling HOW long this thing’s been up there.”
“I don’t really know what to expect in this place, except that the locals have apparently seen some of the plant creatures from the farm dungeon climbing up the stem.”
“…Stalk. Whatever.”
“And, of course, it should go without saying that if you fall down in the wrong spot while climbing around in a sky dungeon, that’s the end for you.”

Curious why so many people are voting for this one. It seems likely to give Fired Up to Lara, which is sorta pointless with her fully bonded. Mac’s or Botanya’s dungeons seem like better priorities.
And we’ve already been told that (excluding bond dungeons) each act will have 6 dungeons. Given that the first one is already done and last one is probably special, we’re probably only going to get to pick 4 options.
I do admit the shipwreck is probably a worse idea, as we wouldn’t be able to safely bring Princess.
Botania’s bond is still locked. So sky garden bad idea.
We’re doing this dungeon eventually and now is as good as time as any. Also a chance to get more accessories for Mac to smif
Are we doing it eventually? I’m under the impression we’re going to get to play 4 more choosable storyline dungeons. We can see 3 laid out here (bond dungeon doesn’t count). We’ll probably get access to more once we complete one. I’m willing to bet that we’re going to have to make some choices. There will probably be dungeons that seem to be for Lohk and Ix, MAYBE Ama (his extra bond point from blowing up a dungeon may have been his thing). Choosing a Lara dungeon means 1) missing out on a use of Fired Up, and 2) missing out on a regular bond slot by bringing Lara.
That would be a different chapter layout than chapters 1 and 2 but I suppose the concern is valid. Just seems like a lot of work for LSN to do up more dungeons (or at least a rough outline) than what will be used.

Things to consider:
We want kamau Max bonded next. So shipwreck bad idea because of remorse. We also have the diving helmet which we want to smif so maybe do mac’s after that?
Can’t do cloud dungeon because botanias bond hasn’t unlocked
Another thing to consider: It’s implied there will be extras coming to Mac’s bond dungeon, which is something we hadn’t counted on. It’s unclear if they would theoretically accompany us but not gain bond, or get extra bond points. The difference between the two could make big differences in choices by changing feasibility of bonds going forward.
We need a bond expert! There’s this Red Ranger who can help..
It seems pretty clear to me that the “extras” are the excuse for why it’s just Ricki and Mac in the library part which is the only part we’ll be playing.
It seems very possible to me, but not 100% certain.
It’s quite possible that Botania might get “fired up” for the Garden in the sky just like Mac got fired up for the last (dragon/kobold) dungeon.
Likewise with Coxxcy and the shipwreck.
Seems likely. That could max Botanya in one run, she’ll only need two more points after breaking bond cap.

Ok. Here’s the plan. We chop the stem of the big flower and carry that dungeon out to sea. Then we climb the flower and do that dungeon but if anyone falls off they fall into the shipwreck dungeon.
Dungeon team ideas:
Just for discussion, I like to brainstorm with others. Things may change obviously with new info.
Temple: Lara, kamau, lhok.
Lhok supports with heals and golly. Kamau and Lara can probably team up and attack together since kamau has high def and Lara has poison resistance. Ricki can be whatever we need
Gets us last bond on kamau and one on lhok.
Shipwreck: cyx, lhok, Mac
Ricki tanks and Mac and cyx attack at range. Cyx can also scout past undead and breathe underwater. Lhok can use bubble staff multiple times and keep her and Mac healed.gets us bond on lhok and cyx.
Cloud: lhok, botania. Kamau?
Honestly just need lhok for bond and botania for fired up. I expect a lot of flying enemies so Mac or Ricki with shocktail is also essential. Maybe cyx for ranged but plants do extra vs undead so probably bad idea
A thought: considering the risk of falling from the sky dungeon, it might be worth bringing Lara along in case there’s need for someone who can climb along walls where floors are lacking.
Good idea. Also would help to attack flying enemies if there is a roof
there might be no walls there, imagine magic clouds you can walk on.. foreground and background might simply be open space with no back-wall to climb on
Wait a minute… Does Ix need to breathe in her ice form? If no, she might be a good addition for the shipwreck instead of Mac, and it’s not as if she’s going to encounter a lot of fire damage underwater. If yes, your plan should work fine instead.
Cool idea (no pun intended). It seems unlikely that Ix breathes in either form, and ice powers could be interesting underwater. On the other hand, Ix doesn’t really have any ice powers yet, apart from Ice Form, and it’s not clear to me whether their attacks in either form are ranged or melee – though of course in her ice form she could just use the shocktail javelin.
Discussion about party setup for dungeons. Just for fun.

Gets bond on kamau and lhok. Lara and kamau can both probably tank so we can do some awesome dmg. Lhok supports with golly and heals. Ricki can be whatever we need at the time.
Shipwreck: Cyx Mac and lhok
Ricki tanks and cyx and Mac ranged. Lhok uses bubble wand multiple times and keeps Mac and her healed. Cyx can also scout past undead and doesn’t need air.

Cloud: besides botania. No idea
I would expect a lot of flying enemies so shocktail is a must. If we still have gravity staff. Then lhok would be good too.

Why are ppl voting for the sanctum before we can finish with mac? Is there a reason behind it or just flavor?
I’m puzzled too. It’s likely to give Fired Up to Lara, if anyone, which isn’t that valuable if we’re trying to maximize rescues. Also most of the arachnomancer treasure was overly specific to the point of being useless last time, so going for the drops also doesn’t make much sense.
My reason is for a chance to get better accessories to smif
Same as Claudious for not doing Mac right now but I wish we would do the water dungeon instead tho so we can sell/smiff our water items but I guess people still have fish dumping villager PTSD. 🙁
My reason for not wanting to do water is that it will mean we can’t safely bring Princess, and therefore can’t level her up.
But bonding mac can provide stronger and better smifs.
whelp i pretty much expected a jack in the beanstalk type scenario when the farm dungeon happened
Hey, folks.
We all know we are coming “close” to the end, with only 5 more non-bond dungeons to go, and it sage to say that these dungeons have elements tied to the story of the companions.
We finished Mac’s (1 out 6 dungeons). Now we have Lara’s (2/6), Botanya’s (3/6) and Cyx’s (4/6). There is two dungeons left, and we have another four companions: IX (Ix? Nine? How do you read it?), Kamau, Lohk and Amadeusz.
Based on what we have seen, Kamau, Lohk and Amadeusz have a common past. They were all at the last goblin village when it was attacked. I think it’s safe to assume they will share a fired-up dungeon.
I’m typing these because I think it should help us decide party composition for these next dungeons.
More to the point:
• Kamau is close to max bond, be it from a finishing a dungeon or from the fired-up dungeon he shares with Amadeusz.
• Amadeusz can reach max if we only bring him to the fired-up dungeon.
• That leaves Lohk, who needs to three more bond points before she can benefit from the extra bond point from the fired-up dungeon shared with Amadeusz.
These also means the we can, in fact, max bond all available companions, but that would involve bringing the less powerful and less popular companions along the ride and leaving Kamau and Amadeusz benched until their fired-up dungeon.
One problem with this theory is that we were supposed to have another companion, Rekt. If LSN really does have a master plan that involves fired-up dungeons for all, there should be one for him too.
Also, if we really did get a shared fired-up dungeon for Amadeusz, Kamau and Lohk, only Amadeusz would gain bond from it, because of Sketchy.
It’s both, obviously 😛
