“It’s fine, I just died anyway XD.”

“…What was that noise you just made? Was that a word?”

“I dunno. Our new friend says it all the time and it’s starting to rub off on me.”

“Ricki and Paws are hanging out alone! I can feel a new fic brewing…”

“Huh. Well, should I take it from the scene back there that you’ve all had enough time to rest by now? Last week you said you needed more.”

“Yeah, the last dungeon was… it was something.”

“I did warn you, Ricki.”

“Yeah, you did.”

“But I think it’s a good time for the next one now!”

“Great.”

“Then now’s also a good time to mention that I had some luck with what you asked me to look for.”

“Oooh! That was fast!”

“Well… the request itself wasn’t TOO out there. You wanted historical information from pre-Imperial times, specifically from original sources.”

“Even with regular book burnings, stuff like that survives here and there.”

“Finding something related to dragons and kobolds in particular, that was a little trickier.”

“But in my research, something perfect dropped into my lap.”

“Oh?”

“It seems that one of the last and mightiest holy dragons made its home in a dungeon. A very old, very large dungeon.”

“So large, in fact, that once the kobolds who lived there were removed, the whole place was sealed up rather than fully exploring it.”

“I guess they had a lot of dungeons to get through in those days, and some just fell through the cracks.”

“But here’s the really interesting part.”

“That dragon, who was no doubt centuries old, turned her home dungeon into…”

“…a library.”
