Following the directions they got from Paws, combined with Lara’s ability to read various subtle markers on the cavern walls, the party traverses the underground world. Though they pass through many areas teeming with life, the closer they get to their destination, the less there seems to be. The Goddess of Spiders’ poisonous influence is likely the culprit.
Since most arachnomancer enclaves are well hidden, Ricki worries that they might be discovered by a patrol before they can find the sanctum. But as it turns out…
