We’re entering the dungeon with Upgraded Chain, a Heavy Shield and a Greatsword for Macadamia to begin smiffing with as soon as possible, one of each of the +3s we have available. We’re entering the dungeon with a pretty loaded purse to make use of Ricki’s Comforting Weight Ability (+1 def per 20 gp held) and the Rabbit’s Paw for an emergency fund. We can fill it further with the Midas Gloves.
May I suggest leaving the kobold den until next time, so that we get the underground shelter discount on it? We could instead get the gaming table and comfy couches, or the magic tome.

Reason: We are going into a dragon’s lair with a high probability of treasure and High HP enemies for Midas Gloves. Couches are only when we dont plan to bring Kamau and filling purse will be easy and save us some space.
I’d rather get the last confirmed Rescue building built now so we can focus on the Foyer unlockls, botania’s room (if we are bonding her) and any other rescue buildings we may unlock from helping kobolds later.
For Candy, Good chance we’ll see the petmaster so having candy is good for that. If not, extra move on Kamau is ALWAYS good to help him get places faster. Although I am unsure if that works with Salveshell armor…

Can’t build a Shrine for The Emperor? Aaaw, I thought we’re open and inclusive party xD Enabling Paws to sell Emperor’s items would probably rock, and in-rp at least Mac would greatly approve 😛
I think we should build the closet for Cyx. I know people dislike them and think they are weak, but building/fixing a room grants party members a big mechanical benefit. C’mon, lets do it. We all love a level up.

-That’s over 17 gold profit before the final dungeon(cuz 6 arc dungeons and 4 bond dungeons)
-Even more if pet food counts or we unlock good new renovations that counts
-8.8 cuz we got Coop, Garden, Still and Well(TIL wikipedia says water counts as a food even by itself, check link in comment) counting for icebox and Well also give a 10% bonus
-We need as much gold as possible to make sure we can buy all rescue renovations eventually for good ending

-I think going through the entire dungeon without finding a single kobold guard with a warhammer, heavy pick or whatever junk to smiff with is like, super unlikely. Can use paws if that somehow happen

Kamau gets mushie since he benefits the most from both +1 atk and def. Combo with cleave!
Mac will stay away from enemies and atk dont buff throwing shocktail so I like Golly on him. Helps with getting the plate and shield smiffed ASAP too.

I agree with not buying ectoplasm or greatsword. Would rather not sell Suns Raze, once cuz its a unique and two it seems like a good Ix weapon, and it becomes really good if we get another outdoor dungeon.
I thought we gave up on max bonding Ix for Botanya? I saw a Ix party but it wasnt voted for.
Anyway, we have lots good weapons already. LSN said Ix can use shocktail which is much better. Or he can go siegesword for crazy damage. Sunraze is just a basic longsword other than 3 times per dungeon and even then it has the same randomness we dont like in fireball. Even swiftblade is twice as good as longswords for fire Ix if we dont want it on Ricki.
Iirc we have exactly enough bond available from dungeons to max Kamau, Mac, Botanya, Lohk and Ix. Or just Kamau, Mac and Amadeusz if we want to max Amadeusz.
Swiftblade I think is just always going to be on Ricki since she’s the lady with the Daisy. Other than that, there’s the Shocktail, which Ix can wield, but we’d get more value from it being wielded by someone like Mac or Lohk, characters that have a hard time dealing good damage. Other than that, we have no other good one-handed melee weapons, but maybe we’ll find more.
The randomness we dont like in fireball isn’t really present in Sun Raze because melee damage is king. We still get the character’s Atk stat on top of the weapon’s actual damage, and Ix wielding Sun Raze and dealing 8-9 damage is way better than a fireball dealing 4-7 damage.
Labor is a trap. Sure, a profit by the final dungeon is nice, but it comes at a cost of spending money early. Those 53 gold could go in Ricki’s pocket to gain >2 def as a baseline. Having 1-2 more def on a character for several dungeons is well worth 11 gold (11 coz we don’t get to spend money after the last dungeon).
On that note, delaying Kobold Den looses us 0.4 gold and gains +2 def for Ricki for a dungeon – also a great trade
Where are you getting 11? I already counted no labor for last dungeon.
Like, we get the labor for building this stuff after dungeon 2,3,4,5 and 4 bond dungeons so 8 times total. 8 times 8.8 is 70.4. So the minimum profit is 17.4 gold.
And I think its totes likely we will get more. Like, some of the new rescue renovations could also be food related like the alcohol guy. And I didn’t even count our renovations I wasn’t sure about. Maybe the mammoth count as food related since it’s doing farm work? Maybe pet food count? Or maybe the ice box count itself too? ANY of these being true means we get more than 17.4 profit.
I don’t think we want to bring more than 40 gold in the purse anyway since looted gold or fat monsters with midas gloves means we will end up costing inventory space for it. Heck, even 40 is risky since we had 25hp dragon in act 2 and act 3 will have stronger monsters.
And bringing >20 gold is super easy, even this plan does it so delaying more spending is really is +1 defense at most.
