“You’ve told me about some of the strange creatures you’ve encountered in dungeons.”
“One trend you may have noticed is groups of kobolds sealing themselves into remote corners and tending to large magical reptiles or amphibians.”
“These are cultists, more or less, who are trying to use dungeon magic to spawn a new race of dragons.”
“What you may not know is that they have a central hatchery that all these fake dragons originate from.”
“After they get big enough, a group of dragon tamers will split off with one and look for a new dungeon to inhabit.”
“But that original location, which they call the Dragon Factory, is supposed to have a few very powerful specimens on hand as well.”
“I’d expect some tough fights there, but whatever they’re using to grow these things might be useful to you if you can find it.”
“Other than that, I know for a fact you’re already familiar with the arachnomancers.”
“Unlike the dragon tamers, they’re openly hostile to the Empire. They’ve mostly been wiped out.”
“Not many know, but there’s still one big sect hiding out in a dungeon underground.”
“I don’t know if they built their temple IN the dungeon, or if it formed around them.”
“But word is they’re still building power, in the hopes of trying again to overthrow the Emperor.”
“I have no idea if they’ve got any treasure worth taking, but it’d probably be for the best to shut them down.”
“They hurt regular people more than they’ll ever hurt the Empire.”
“So, those are the two dungeons I know about. Which one sounds like less of a deathtrap to you?”
Like this comment to go to the Arachnomancer Sanctum!
I vote for this quest, because we’ve already pissed of this god greatly and got out alive, why not try that again?
Like this comment to go to the Dragon Factory!
In honor of Skyrim’s birthday today, I vote we hunt dragons.
Only reason I vote against dragon factory is that I think bringing mac once he has dig would be a good idea
Dragum :3
I vote for this quest, because literally, this one “one sounds like less of a deathtrap” to me. It’s just kobolds. And some beasts. We know kobolds will be in large groups and will hit hard, we need shitload of defense and healing and fight them in as small groups as possible. We know the beasts will be of absolutely new elemental types and have some new most surprising skills we wouldn’t guess, and we will need some elemental-defense stuff or potions, and at least a few MagicLens. Business as usual, and then we’ll eventually get into SNAFU as usual, most probably due to “just this one last chest” and “this group is a piece of cake” syndromes. But at least no gods vivisecting and removing brains from our teammates, right?
EDIT: OK. If a god shows up and mutates Mac into a fire-breathing-ring-smiffing half-drake, I think I wouldn’t mind
SNAFU as usual should be the name of this comic
Was SNAFU as usual an intentional joke?
yes 🙂
Dragons fuck yeah!!1
Oh hi suggested party members to bring along to respective dungeons, do you have some useful familiarity with the things Paws is talking about?
This is probably just wishful thinking, but those dungeons sound like the type we are supposed to take very specific characters for a chance to earn double bond points, like we did with Amadeusz last time.
Could be. Lara is obviously the choice for drow.
Mac is choice for dragons.
Though Lara is maxed out, so no point in taking here there now. Unless the crowd insists on bonding up Ama to the end.
Hmm. Pass. What else ya got?
He lied to use about not having knowing any, why should we believe him those are all the options?
