Dungeon 9 Turn 29

Kamau and Lara finish off the final ghoul, though Lara ends up paralyzed in the process. Ricki shakes off her own paralysis at the end of this turn.
The ghouls and rats drop three rusty longswords, one rusty chain armour, one gold longsword, and four rat tails. Botanya picks up the gold sword and one of the rusty ones, then sprouts a replacement flytrap for Kamau.
Plan: Boss Room
Botania, Kamau: Move Right. Double Move Right.
Ricki: Move Right, Move Right. Ask Kamau and botanya about Necromancers, Giant Skeletons and Red Imps. If Cyx is nearby, ask him as well, make him feel included.
Lara: Be Paralyzed
Nothing exciting here. The Idea is that we want Botania above the boss room on turn 31 so she can intercept the 3 wandering Zombies. Once we intercept them out of Cyx’s area, we can use pets and ranged to try to minimize our infection from them. She’ll need Ricki with her to bypass the trap in the 5-ghoul room.
Having Ricki Ask questions is a good use for a downtime action since we can sometimes learn stuff, while opening tombs or breaking jars could disrupt our timeline.
If we anyway have a wasted action, we could try talking with coccyx again?
He did – very slightly – change his behavior recently and I also still think we could offer to get him down from his point/prison if he helps or joins us.
I think we should have Kamau interpose his shot since he’ll probably try to finish off our mushroom friend and we have to wait for Lara anyway.
Pets can’t be attack unless they attack themselves, so that’s not necessary
The last time our mushroom got shot was because it was also attacking the zombie. Always good to be cautious though
I would suggest Ricki wait in the lever room for Lara, and quickly check the room’s sarcophagus beofre leaving. That won’t affect the group’s overall speed, because Lara is Lagging, and will allow Ricki to flip the lever upon Lara joining her again.
This will help us fight the swoval ghast if we end up having time to do stuff after fighting necro (that is, if the Enter Guard: Stage Right hypothesis is correct)
If we do end up running back towards exit, Ricki will always have the extra move to get there first to flip the lever if we need to
I believe the party can tank a few more infection points. And I also believe somewhere in this dungeon there is a cure for the infecction. And I want to kill the claymore ghast, the snake and the owlbear, if possible, in that order.
Kamau: move right and flip the lever;
Botanya: move right and play the pipes for Cyx (I wanna test the pipes at range, item description does not say it is melee only);
Ricki: move right and engage Cyx again. Ask him about the necromancer making infected zombies and the imp.
Lara: stay put, take a break;
Pets: just follow.
Wait. This will trap Lara. Lets go to the snake first.
