Dungeon 8 Turn 12
————
Ricki smacks the merchant in the back of the head with her sword as gently as she can and knocks him out. Literally, she barely taps him. She’d think he was faking it if he wasn’t drooling so much. She recovers 5 more gold coins that fell out of his pockets, as well as one of the shields the guards were carrying. The bandits toss her another bandit token, which might come in handy later. They then pick up the rest of the items the guards drop and equip them.
Kamau heads to the left, while Lara and Cordy and their entourage of little guys head right.
Kamau picks up two shields, a heavy shield, another suit of plate armour, and some fuzzy little boots. Wearing the boots slightly lowers his Def, as he has to remove the greaves that come with his armour, but they do make him feel faster in exchange.
After leaving behind the magic lens, Cordy swats the angry owlbear right in the beak. This is only a distraction, however, as Lara does a cool flip to get behind it and cut its whole arm off. The creatures drops another strange headdress, which Lara keeps.
Continuing thisnameismeta’s timetable:
Cordy: loot the chest near you, then return to the screen to your left.
Lara: return to the screen on your left, then loot the chest to your left.
Ricki: go down and to the right. Use the dropped lens to lens the larger wolf. Go two screens to the left, drop your token on the right side of the floor where the bandits are, point out the pressure plate on the bottom floor of Kamau’s current screen as he comes and goes.
Kamau: Wait until Ricki points out the trap to you and Molly and go down to loot the leftmost chest, putting larger weight items into Molly, and back to the ladder, avoiding the pressure plate as you come and go.
What is sticking out from fallen merchant’s mouth? xD
IIRC, so far, no tongues were presented.
So.. Is that a rat tail? Can we take it? :greedy:
Or maybe it’s Ricky’s TrapDetection kicked in like for chests, and the merchant’s head is trapped with rats? :scary:
No tongues have been present because you usually don’t see them outside people’s mouths. This guy saw what he was up against and decided to go full Hognose Snake.
Oh, look a locked door. Lucky we have lockpicks..
