Dungeon 7 Turn 28
————
Macadamia lands the killing blow on the corn knight, taking no damage in return. Ricki forgoes her action in order to be on hand when the loot drops so she can pick up the two corn spears and corn cobs.
Ricki then follows Kamau and Lohk back to the entrance of the barn.
Kamau: interpose skeletons upstairs
Ricki: loot skeleton group’s chest upstairs while having corn spear equipped for extra def and moving axe and armor to molly, getting produce in return to free up space. Finish turn near the dropped shield, away from the skeleton group.
Mac: try to climb inside coop if possible. Otherwise, kill the rooster near the coop.
Lohk: move Hay Bale to the right.
I probably won’t be able to edit this later. If a better variation comes up, feel free to post it and downvote this one. The idea is that we have to do everything in this turn and the next. So we are doing everything.
As for climbing inside the coop, the idea comes from LSN’s new story in his ko-fi shop: Last ditch dungeon. There, goblins climb into a smaller hole than that.
Lohk: Push the hay bale back right.
Kamau: Go upstairs and interpose Ricki through the skeletons. Then follow her back to the dropped shield and out of harm’s way. If you don’t have to interpose any unexpected roach punches, don’t.
Ricki: Stow your batarmor and greataxe on Molly in return for the corn spear, wand, the eggs, and the onions. Wield a corn spear to get back up to 4 armor, then go upstairs, loot the skeleton chest and take the stalkroach punch to the face. It’s a trap not an attack, you firmly believe, so Kamau won’t interpose it, right? Afterwards, end your turn away from the skeletons by the dropped shield from earlier.
Macadamia: Check out that weathervane. See anything weird about it? Try spinning it to face left. Stay out of the tomato melee range and then head down left and left through the balcony exit to see what’s going on outside.
Recommend adding this to Ricki’s turn: Finish turn near the dropped shield, away from the skeleton group.
Otherwise Kamau will be forced to interpose again next turn.
EDIT: now saw you put that in Kamau’s turn. Might want to duplicate that in Ricki’s to avoid confusion nevertheless.
Done.
