Dungeon 2 Turn 17
————
Kamau knocks out the first drunk, still taking no damage and his armour still holding shape. Ricki darts up and attacks another drunk, using her dagger in an attempt to preserve the rusty sword for later. She doesn’t seem to get through the drunk’s defense.
One of the drunks barfs on himself instead of attacking. This doesn’t appear to be a special move or anything, it just happens.
Ricki’s 2 ATK still adds 2 damage because of how damage is calculated, so it’s still great
Ricki and Kamau: Keep attacking the same drunk
Yeah if we can take out drunk number two we should be safe generally here
If possible to do that now, maybe have Kamau un-equip the armour for the time being.
I don’t think he can be hurt by 2 drunks (even if one of them wields a dagger), and it would be super unfortunate to have them “kill” the armour when they attack and the additional defence from the armour wasn’t needed in the first place.
Oh, and thank goodness that the barfing is not a special move. I’d hate to see what “projectile vomiting” could do to Ricki and Kamau…
Ricki: knock the tipsy drunk into the glass.
Kamau: keep attacking
We can avoid to kill the drunks, just knock them out instead. I know it’s kind of confusing, because Kamau and Ricki are using their weapons, but I am fairly sure that at least Kamau only wants (and succeeds) to deal only non-lethal damage. Since it’s possible that the glass shard might actually kill the drunk, I don’t think we should have Ricki push him onto them, if nothing else, then not to get on Kamau’s bad side.
If/when the three drunks are unconscious, they should be placed in a save position – save for them not being killing themselves by barfing, and safe to not rise and wander around again. (Tie shoelaces together?) Frisk them! Ricki, point out the glass trap to Kamau! If we do not want to try to use the rat holes now, we need to proceed this corridor. There are two dogs there, we should think about how to deal with them before running into them.Ricki: If you loose another HP, you have 3 missing and 1 left, i.e. that would be the right time to (step behind Kamau and) use “Grit“.
Kamau: Shove the drunks onto the broken glass
Ricki: Trip them as they are shoved (to make his job easier)
