Dungeon 16 Turn 42

Kamau, Ix, and Botanya regroup beneath the fortress. While Kamau and Princess chip away at the annoying lettuce, Ix picks up the stray bow and arrows and Botanya uses the scroll of enchantment on one of the nunchacolli (that’s the plural we’re going with), spending 5 HP to do so.
Seeing Princess fight, and Toaster loyally scanning the area with one glowing eye, Botanya can’t help but feel as if she’s forgetting something.
Ricki quickly pulls out the corn spear and strikes down the imp. These things may be able to talk, but she knows from what she’s heard from Lohk, Kamau, and others that they don’t belong on the mercy list. They have their own world where they can live peacefully if they want to; the ones that come here are only looking for “luxury food”.
She gathers up the demon ichor that’s left behind. It’s weirdly cohesive and easily able to be stored in her inventory. She’s glad she has gloves to handle it with, though.

Kamau: interpose lettuce.
Princess: bite lettuce.
Ricki: go through hole. Down rope. Action move right. Get helped up by ix to ledge above.
Botania: use healing wand on yourself
Ix: stay put.
As much as I really want to send botania to scout right this turn, it might put us in an awkward spot if the general is there and may attack botania before she can leave. If that’s the case, kamau would need to leave lettuce to save botania and ix would be unable to join battle vs general without causing remorse.
So she scouts next turn while everyone else kills lettuce
“Botanya can’t help but feel as if she’s forgetting something” – what this could be about? just a pun on how Botanya doesn’t enter combat, or have we really forgotten to do something?
Next turn we can have her call for Golly. Maybe this will even give us a hint about where she is.
I think Claudious’ idea is for Botanya to scout invisible next turn so we’ll see the whole room right.
Claudious plan plus inventory management
This give Ricki another +3 damage vs corn general just in case he healed more.
We wont need ranged attacks for the rest of the dungeon and do much more in melee so Ix grab our backup rope just in case.
Everyone is still in position for their next turn’s job.
Kamau: interpose lettuce.
Princess: bite lettuce.
Ricki: go through hole. Down rope. Go to the rightmost edge of the room. Grab Botanya’s nunchacolli, making space by dropping corn spear.
Botania: Go to leftmost edge of the room. Trade enchanted nunchacolli to Ricki by gently tossing/handing it left, through the room edge. Do NOT leave your room.
Ix: Drop atlatl and arrows. Move up. Grab wand and rope. Move down.
Good idea upgrading Ricki’s melee weapon.
However, rope and wand are in two different spots so ix can only grab 1.
Rope was dropped “by the wand” so should count in same area for grabbing.

Can they trade between rooms?
I really doubt it but it doesn’t change anything to try at least
We saw items pass between rooms just fine many times so I dont see why not. Its not like theres a magic barrier that stop items from being tossed to another room. Deffo worth a try at least!
About inventory management: Botania could have exchanged her Wand of Mend (can buy a new one from Paws) against the Wand of more magic missiles (not sold by Paws). There is also the Crowstone Inferno still on the ground next to is, which also cannot be bought. But, well, maybe this is spilled milk and we should make speed.
