Ricki returns to her friends, and Lara and Sue join her in a team use of Grit. Rick and Lara each recover 3 HP, while Sue is restored to full.
Meanwhile, Amadeusz frees Princess from the web he’s stuck in. He and every single other pet then immediately get stuck in another one. Amadeusz frees them too.
The recently defeated arachnomancer arises as a drider!
Ricki: Point out web above to Lara & Wolf. Attack the Drider. Have Daisy bite the Drider.
Sue: Wear your DEATH Robes. Help Ricki by throwing the Shocktail at the Drider. Loot its Chainmail afterwards.
Lara: Up the middle ladder. Wear your Poison Robes. Sting the Mantis through the webs.
Wolf: Stand between Lara and the webs. If the Mantis gets too close, attack it.

Ricki 9 + Daisy 4 + Sue 9 kills the Drider that takes 21 to kill.
Drider will attack Ricki as she’s the smallest target.
Lara testing to see if she can fire poison bolts through the web. I doubt a Shocktail could, but I’d bet the Arachnomancer’s would be able to shoot us with their poison bolts through webs, but we’ll see. Amadeusz is there to facetank so we have a chance at killing it (though probably not) and he has stacks of healing in his inventory in case the Mantis does ludicrous and/or unblockable damage.
Wouldn’t Daisy be a smaller target than Ricki?
Daisy is smallish. Ricki is small.
We tested it earlier against the driders at the bottom
Ricki has the small trait, while Daisy only has the smallish trait (which lacks the drawback of small). So Ricki is objectively smaller than Daisy.
Additional to the given replays: Ricki can rid on Daisy, which also says something about their sizes.
Geesh. Grit scared me again for a second. It really looks like they exploded or something.

To answer Claud’s question last turn about where to go next, I’m in favor of clearing the top brazier (past the mantis), then the one below it. Might as well deal with them now while we’re up in this corner, plus if there’s any chance we’ll end up fighting the giant spider later, we don’t want it reviving. (I think que’s suggestion that Lara subdue it was a good one, but I’m worried the high priestess might be able to override that and turn the spider back against us.)
I like how Lara and Ricki have their eyes closed in focused determination while Sue just looks like she had a hit of the good stuff.
“The good stuff” being the power of friendship, of course.
