Dungeon 14 Turn 13
————
Ricki and her friends take some time to centre themselves and prepare for the next harrowing battle.
Ricki leaves the spear she picked up earlier behind, retrieving a shield and magic lens from the entrance instead. Macadamia and Botanya swap two of their rings, then leave a truly outrageous number of them behind. The upgrade press and tyrant horn are also (temporarily?) abandoned.
Kamau drinks one of the greater healing potions, recovering 5 HP and leaving him fit for combat once more.
Yes, let’s leave a wealth of goods lying around in an unsecured area where anyone passing by can pick them up
It’s fine, it’s not like there has ever been a penalty for doing so 😀
aside from random mobs picking up stuff 😉
imagine our faces if something unexpected suddenly rushed by and swallowed half of the stuff 😀
anyways the perimeter is clear, so I see no issue, and my my, that press+rings look like a display of medals 😀 I like this place. Great place for beaming-down Paws. Well, unless the rest of the dungeon surprises us with its length.
By the way, was the Tyrant coming in on 30? We’re already halfway there, wow!
I was joking because we have been penalized before – the manor ghost destroyed a bunch of our stuff.
Also I wouldn’t be surprised if Tyrant comes early, since baby was made to cry twice.
Good point. Let’s spend several turns putting all this spot in a safer place..like right by the dungeon entrance so we can grab it on our way out.
Ricki: Head right. Case the Death Kobold holding the maul up above. Walk past the fight and scout downward.
Kamau: Head right. Attack the leftmost Kobold Miner.
Macadamia: Head right. Throw your Shocktail at the rightmost Kobold Miner. Collect any rings from their drops if you can so safely.
Botanya: Stand near the Kobold Miner fight. Have your Flytrap bite the middle one.

Kobolds seem to prefer attacking melee enemies that are attacking them based on previous fights, so we should be safe having Ricki run past the group. I’m having Flytrap attack regardless to give the Kobolds a third, weaker looking target to gang up on in case they feel like they’d rather attack Ricki over Kamau.
Don’t forget to add Ricki’s basic shield to the stash before she moves
