Amadeusz finished a dungeon! He can gain one new ability from this list:
Bloodlust: +1 Atk against creatures not at full HP while in werewolf form.
Bonelust: +1 Atk against skeletons while in werewolf form.
Energetic Jig : Self and allies in the room recover 1 HP.
Heroic Ballad : Allies in the room have +1 Atk and Def this turn.
Howl: Can use abilities in werewolf form, but each counts as one additional use and no instrument can be used.
Langourous Waltz : Enemies in the room have -1 Atk and Def this turn.
Light Armour Proficiency: +1 Def when wearing armour with a base Def bonus of +2 or less.
Light Sword Proficiency: +1 Atk when wielding a longsword or similar weapon.
Musical II: Can use three abilities per dungeon if holding an instrument.
Requiem of Resurrection : Revives a dead ally in the same room with 1 HP. Counts as three uses. Used automatically if Ricki dies, if possible.
Rend I: When dual wielding gain a 20% chance to deal +2 damage.
Shaggy I: While in werewolf form, 30% chance to gain a +2 bonus to Def each turn.
Shapeshift II: Can transform into werewolf form and back once per dungeon each. Werewolf form has +4 Atk and +2 Def, but cannot use weapons, shields, armour, or Song abilities.
Tooth And Nail II: Each empty hand counts as a +2 Atk weapon while in werewolf form.
Wolf Speed: +1 Mov in werewolf form.
Wound Closure: While in werewolf form, recover 1 HP at the start of each turn if below 5 HP.

Not sure how often we are going to use Amad with his Sketchy trait. However, anything that helps us deal with large groups of enemies would probably be best.

A third Dirge would have been clutch this dungeon and probably allowed us to complete the secondary objective.
Also a prerequisite to effing RESURRECTION.
Resurrection, yes, but take a look at EnergeticJig. Hold my beer, lemme cast AoE healing. All allies (team, pets, and others too) get an HP point. Even ignoring pets and allies, in a team of four, if we ignore reserving “charges” for resurrection, that makes 8hp restored (or 12 with Musical2). And maybe more if we had some “get additional 1hp when healed” traits (I think I saw it somewhere, dont remember where).
Light sword proficiency. If it applies to both hands, the violin becomes a +6 attack weapon.
His upgrades are overall very good too.
Confirmed on discord, LSP does not apply to both swords.

That said, these bonuses clarify how useful the wolf form might be. Look at Tooth and Nail. That’s four extra damage with no weapons, at all times. You keep boosting that up and the power output is insane, plus you’re freeing up inventory slots. Literally permanent +2 damage with each level up, while most characters are granted +1, and only in specific stances, like ambushing or backstabbing, or only with specific weapons. And Wound Closure? Automatic regeneration so that Ama is always at least 5 HP? Wow.

“Requiem of Resurrection” :gasp:
I did not upvote this because Amadeusz only has two (yet) and thus could not use that ability (yet), but “:gasp:” and “He gets that ability now (instead of before this dungeon)?” were exactly my thoughts. On the other hand, future dialogue sure as imp in hell: “There is a new character in that room. Let’s go there!” – “No, we can resurrect them later.”
I think that dead “ally” is important there. I doubt it would let us revive anyone who wasn’t already a party member.
One of my IRL friends pointed out that this is a bit of a trap option.
If we have this ability, we’ll be reluctant to use his other musical abilities for the entire dungeon, since without a way to regain them it’ll be impossible to use the Requiem if we use anything else. So we may play suboptimally (no using songs, no using werewolf form) the whole dungeon, increasing our risk of dying, just because we want to have this ability left open.
Amadeusz as the only one will also receive a bond level.
When considering what to get for him, factor in that due to Sketchy we will likely only be taking him to dungeons where we need The Big Guns: Fully bonded characters and unbondable guys like Cordy. At least for now, that would mean we have mobility covered (Lara) and AoE covered (Cordy’s mushes). Might be best to focus on healing/support, unless we’re going to go hard on maxing out Lohk or Botanya bond.
Tooth&Nail II
Let’s at least get one decent wolf upgrade as an option here. I’m picking this +2 atk skill over +1 atk +1 def from Shapeshift II because def is easier to get from accessories like helmets and greaves.
