Dungeon 10 Turn 9 Part 2

SKREEEEEEE-K-K-K-K
“We’ve been here too long.”
“Time to go.”
“Lara!”
“Ricki!”
A terrible monster has broken through the floor of the temple: a gargantula. The most powerful creature an arachnomancer can summon from the Goddess of Spiders’ domain. With the temple in decline as it is, this one must have been waiting in hibernation for years before finally being awoken for no other reason than to kill one traitor.
The driders have no doubt taken Ricki to the sacrificial chamber. If Lara runs past the gargantula, she MAY survive long enough to catch up with them. Then, if she gets very lucky, she MAY be able to free Ricki before her former fellow acolytes tear them both to pieces. The odds aren’t in her favour. Especially when her skull feels like it’s splitting apart.
Despite everything that’s happened, the Goddess of Spiders is still very strong.
But…
“Love…”
“…is stronger.”
“I’ve burned this place down once, I’ll do it again!”
We should have invested in Ricki dodge after all.
Hahahaha, nothing is strong enough to avoid cutscene Powah, my friend.
More eyes are appearing on Lara’s face. We’ll probably be on a double timer, one to save Ricki and one to avoid “the dridening”.
Nah, we’re done here, this is a cutscene.
That’s a perfect “bond up” line
It’s lovin’ time!
The Spider Queen sends their nastiest spider because of one drow, who originally was meant to be sacrificed only for someone who loved them died in their place (more than the spider queen), drow burns down their temple and still isn’t dead from the curse. XD Talk about petty.
Give them hell, Lara!
