Dungeon 1 Turn 22
————
Ricki finds that now that the chests have been opened, she can drag them along they floor without too much trouble (but probably couldn’t carry them up a ladder). She uses one to finally reach the keys on the wall! But she finds that this is labeled as the sewer grate key rather than a cell key. Well, she’ll still need it eventually, but it doesn’t solve her immediate problem.
Ricki drops her rat tail so she has room to carry the keys. If she finds any more keys, she can add them to the same ring so they still only take up one encumbrance slot.

Ricki: To cell 3A! Let’s talk to him again and see if he’s more receptive this time
And show him the sword!
We should examine the second floor cell while we’re there (minding the rat trap), it looked like it had a thin floor. Maybe the cell is unlocked since no one is in it at the moment. We could use an iron ball to smash the thin floor, then drop another one to smash the traitor’s ball and chain. Remember, we need to get him out of the cell, and out of the ball and chain, and at surface level both actions take a key/lockpick.
Let’s check those papers upstairs before we leave the room. once we know what’s on them, wether or not it’s info on the traitor, we do what we can to get more keys and proceed to the trators cell.
On a side note… that guard downstairs not holding the weapon… might be sleeping on the job. Seems worth a peek, no? We should hear snoring at least, if this is the case.
The lone guard also has what I assume are the cell keys. If we use our lockpick on the traitor’s ball and chain we’ll need the keys for the cell door.
Ricki should use the lockpicks to finally get into 1B and check out the sword there. Possibly useful?
I say use the rat tail as a belt to hold the keys.
Pick up rat tail and garrote the unaware guard by the other keys. Also noticed the floor above the prisoner looks weak, maybe use another ball and chain to break it (if door is unlocked)
Not to future Ricki: If we free the prisoner, we might arm them with the knife from the thieves’ cell and/or the sword from the other cell block – if we have the time for it.
