Dungeon 2 Turn 35
————
Kamau and Ricki continue fighting. The second unarmed drunk takes a bunch of damage from Kamau’s strike, as well as from Ricki’s thrown dagger. It doesn’t do a lot of damage because it’s not balanced right, and of course, now her only reliable weapon is being guarded by the drunks and requires an action to pick up.
Dumb idea but taunt the thug into walking over the broken glass to get to you then simply climb the ladder. That way Kamau only has one sparring partner for a round and thug takes glass damage.
Drunks don’t seem to pay attention to anything except whatever they set their eyes on first, so this might not be possible right now.
We’ve only been able to get them to move before with the keg. Trying to get rats to move over to the trap before also didn’t work without bait.
Will Ricki get attacked if her dagger is “being guarded”?
I think that just means she has to spend the action rather than freely picking it up like other items. In this case, at least. The drunks don’t attack anything but the first enemy they saw, so other enemies might attack if we try to retrieve something within their range.
Kamau: Finish off the guy with a dagger in the knee
Ricki: If the guy is KO, pick the dagger back up
… so I wanted to drink my ale but got a dagger in the knee
Ricki: go down a room (avoid glass in both rooms), pick up the dagger you left there and come back up (avoid glass again and remain in an area not attack-able by the snale).
Kamau: knock out the non-torch wielding drunk.
