Dungeon 15 Turn 30

With the arachnomancer (temporarily) defeated, the gargantula turns and attacks Lara. She and Amadeusz, with help from their pets, are able to narrowly defeat the enormous spider. The arachnomancer then rises again as a drider, but with most of his stuff already stolen by Sue. She picked up plate armour, a helmet and shield, and two spider venom glands from the gargantula.
Ricki pops back into the room long enough for Sue to heal Daisy back up to full health, then returns to the room on the right.

Ricki has just enough time to use a magic lens on the high priestess below before she teleports out of the room. There’s no knowing where she ended up.

ARACHNOMANCER HIGH PRIESTESS
HP: 17
Atk: 6, or 10 poison damage at range
Def: 6
Abilities: +3 Def per nearby spider, +9 Def against poison, can create a Spider Web instead of attacking, teleports after being damaged if not defeated, revives as a Drider High Priestess immediately when defeated
The leader of the arachnomancers and the highest ranked priestess of the Goddess of Spiders. She commands the loyalty of all spiders within her domain, and can summon more of them from the Goddess directly. With the decline of the arachnomancers, she has become paranoid and never stays in the same place for long. She becomes more so if she is aware of a threat, and will begin rallying support and laying additional web traps.
Plan: Clean up
Wolf: Attack Drider with claws
Ricki: Move left and attack Drider with swiftblade
Lara: move right and in a bit (but not in a web).venom sting a spider.
Sue: Move right. stay far back as you can and use Research on Killer Spider.
I want to use Research on Killer spider so we can easily know what dmg it needs to one shot. We see these guys everywhere.
Lara is luring the spiders over so we dont need to split attack dealing with webs next turn.
ehh not sure if research killer spiders is that valuable. Like, Lara could not one shot alone even with her damage build and they are easy to one shot with two people anyway.
also I think the big room in the middle right prolly has a special enemy we will want info on.
We can always use a paw to get a lens or may find more around
@LSN if my plan was selected, amad should have yoinked that sword, drider shouldnt have it anymore
Plan: Bust brazier and dip, who cares about spiders.
Ricki: Point both webs out to everyone while standing next to webs so daisy can bite. Then move left. Swap out dodge ring for atk ring. Attack drider(it hit u cuz small).
Daisy: Destroy web 1.
Amad: Move right. Hit brazier. Move back left.
Lara: Move right. Destroy web 2. Move through the spiders(they hit u cuz idol) then return to Sue to carry her back left.
Sue: Move right. Throw shocktail at brazier from as far as possible. Get carried left.
Just unled killer spiders like the last brazier, Lara can tank and we can smash and dip easy. ^_^
Daisy can solo a web cuz this document says they only have 2-3hp.

Can Ricki point out webs and move to the next room? We’ve been screwed before with timing like this.
Also not a big fan of rushing past enemies as it has screwed us before.
Plan: Who cares about the drider either
(@LSN Assuming amad not yoinking sword was just forgotten and will be fixed. If he couldnt for some reasons, plz ignore this)
Ricki: Point both webs out to everyone. Hit brazier. Move left (drider swipe u when you pass by cuz smallest valid target). Move left. Move down.
Daisy: Destroy web 1.
Amad: Move right. Hit brazier. Move left. End turn on leftmost end of corridor.
Lara: Move right. Destroy web 2. Move through the spiders(they hit u cuz idol) then follow Amad back left. End turn on leftmost end of corridor.
Sue: Move left. Tie one end of your rope around Ricki’s waist, leaving most of it trailing freely behind her.
If sword yoink is fixed, drider doesn’t have anything worth spending time on it either.
And Ricki can tank both sword-less drider and brazier without damage.
Tying rope on someone is an idea I got to have a rope that can be moved without spending more actions.
Like, Amad cant be carried so if we want him on the other side of the middle room of the dungeon, Lara can drop Ricki on the other side then Amad can use the rope to help himself cross.
Then lets say we want Amad up or down the broken ladder in the bottom middle. Ricki can stand next to the ladder with the rope dangling down and Amad can use it without having to remove the rope from before and tie it here.
I am so not into this. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it backfire just like the plan to have Princess disarm a trap. The rope gets tangled and trips Ricki up, an intelligent enemy grabs it and yanks her off her feet, she’s not strong enough to anchor the rope for Amad and they both take unblockable falling damage, etc. Action efficiency is great but this just seems like a liability any GM would be happy to exploit.
Are these red spiders the puzzle chest?
Also based on current location, guessing High Priestess teleports between chalices and can summon spiders to buff her at each, so beneficial to break chalices if we want to finish the dungeon.
The high priestess seems shy. We should take her out for ice cream and try to get her out of her shell..
