Sue climbs up the ladder, sneaks past the web (since it’s already full), and joins the fight after dropping a potion on the floor. Lara and Amadeusz also fight back against the preying man’s deathgrip, each taking 3 unblockable damage in the process, and between the three of them they manage to finish the bloodthirtsy insectoid off.
Meanwhile, Ricki plays dress up with her dog.
Plan: Heal and test
Ricki: Move down and point out the ladder trap to group and avoid it. attack the spider when it passes through the web. Have daisy attack it as well.
Lara: Drink potion off the ground and move down. Avoid Ladder trap and have Princess attack the spider if it crosses the web.
Wolf: Break the Web the Mantis was in.
Sue: Move down and avoid the Ladder trap. Use your wand of sting on the spider through the web by the puzzle chest.
This gets heals on Lara to prep her for dealing with Top Brazier Later.
We are testing some web mechanics since knowing this ahead of engaging the Top group could make the different between life and death for us. That group has like 25 potential damage if they roll max and even Lara cant tank that.
We desperately need to know if we can range attack through webs and if spiders get caught in webs. Knowing this will drastically change how we can handle these battles.
Good idea. We’ve already got point 1 down – Lara’s attack got the mantis into the web – so now we move on to point 2. The ancient Greek philosophers would… probably not be “proud” actually, but they wouldn’t disapprove, and that’s good enough for me!
Chic Daisy is cute and if I interpret the tail lines correct, likes the bow/ribbon, thus wagging her tail in excitement. 😀
