Dungeon 14 Turn 59
————

Ricki returns to an upper room and meets up with Botanya. They exchange a few items and picks up some coins and rings that had previously been left behind.

Kamau eats a giant fistful of candy. The energy boost allows him to move more quickly through the dungeon, but his sugar-addled brain tells him he can move even faster if he falls down a ladder on purpose. He comes to his senses and doesn’t do it, though.

Mac pulls up the dangling rope, ties it into a lasso, and manages to hook it around the ladder on the far side of the broken floor. It looks a little precarious, but it seems sturdy when he tests it.
I’m sorry, is that a tightrope? Man I wish I thought of that.
I think we’ve just triggered an ‘no intentional self-harm’ rule on Kamau 😀
I suppose that’s an achievement! 😀
Plan: hatchery
Kamau: move down. Move left. Pick up stack of bolts
Ricki: see if you can burn the chest debris botania is making to make another torch. move right. Move down. Move left. Stay near entrance.
Mac: carefully cross the rope. Open chest. Move back across rope and end turn on highest floor. Just to be safe.
Botania: break a chest. Return the wood to nature. Move right fter
Gets us in position to use bomb next turn. And keeps everyone out of jump range of king if it decides to do some t60 shenanigans.
Mac doesn’t have a horn at the moment. Should he grab the one from the next room before he moves back across the rope?
We dropped one in Mac’s room like, 2 turns ago. I think it should still be there.
Ah, I see that now, Botanya was supposed to drop it on the top level. So it’s just an art error.
Don’t forget Botanya can also move. We could need her inventory to avoid dropping important stuff if eggs must be carried instead of smashed to win
T60 shenanigans would happen simultaneous with this turn’s action. So, for example, while Mac is in the middle of his tightrope escapades.
I’m not worried for Mac unless it’s a die roll to see if he falls. Not sure if that’s the case. King is out of range of Mac and if a new king spawns it can’t attack same turn
“Open chest” implies to put the stuff from the chest into the empty space of Golly’s inventory and/or adding to ring box of Mac in case the rings’ type fits, right?
Might want to specify Golly staying behind, so they don’t try to come along and fall (or worse, dislodge the rope)
Mac can climb a ladder while pushing the mule up.
I want to see him and Golly balancing on that rope.
