Dungeon 2 Turn 14
————
Ricki runs back downstairs, dumps a bunch of rat tails into Kamau’s pockets, then picks up two more and dumps them in his pockets too. She also finds time to flank the drunk and stab him in the butt. With Kamau having already taken down his defenses, the drunk takes massive damage. He isn’t able to hurt Kamau by himself, seemingly.
Kamau: finish off the drunk.
Ricki: check out the chest after the drunk is down.
Also check out the sword and give it to whichever of them would best benefit from its stats.
also, Kamau or Ricki (depending on whether or not Kamau can still do that, after attacking) frisk the bodies of the drunks, in case they had anything else useful on them, that wasn’t obvious on the first sight.
And Ricki check the chest for traps and/or being a mimic before interacting with it in any other way.
And both of them avoid the glass (in case any other players send them that way).
I expect that if there are trapped chests, then it’d be something we as the players need to notice in the drawing, just like every other trap. Of course, unless we get Trap Detection II, then there could exist traps that Ricki can’t spot and point out.
Must open that chest if it’s not locked. Watch out for the glass on the floor Kamau.
Next turn – investigate that top left gold plated box. Is it locked? Will the snake attack? If so, can Kamau handle the snake?
They do not appear to have a way to access it from this side.
There is a wall between Kamau, Ricki and that area, but it might be accessible from the left room in the bottom level or through the rat tunnel (but we don’t know where the “other end” of that is yet).
Also, that’s a centipede and if other LSN games are any indication, then it will definitely attack, if approached.
Hey. just a quick idea. This team of 2 drunks took quite a time. But does Kamau actually SEE what’s happening? There’s no light here, and the torch is in inventory. And no torches on the wall. I don’t think the torch on the top level does any difference, as we have FLOOR there, and I suppose floors are not made of glass.
Our protagonist, Ricky, probably wouldn’t even notice, and Kamau may be not in the mood for complaining, so we may have simply not heard about the problen=m, but we already know what does it mean: high chance of missing the target, etc.
LSN: any ruling or comment, please? is it DARK in this exact spot where they are fighting this last drunk?
Maybe it’s an overall better idea to give the torch to Ricky, and have her just standing in the backline, so Kamau’s damage output is full?
It was my understanding that torches light up the whole room, with rooms being defined as the visible screen. The walls separating do not block light (got no logic for that other than its a game)

In the lowest right room (not displayed here) there is a death drop trap: If Ricki falls from the secon floor to the lowest floor, she might not be able to get up again because she is not high enough. (No, beer consumption will not change it, it is about insufficient vertical length for this.) If there is a movable chest on the left, this might help her get up.
If you mean this angled floor in the center of the ‘screen’ then Kamau can easily lift Ricky from the bottom to the upper part, but then, Kamau will probably have a hard time following her, having only one arm.. Good observation, they have to be careful there.
He climbed up one floor in the jail without any problems.

But he did have the cell door to use “like a ladder” then.
There are nine un-opened chests known, two grates, one ball & chain (sum: 12), but Ricki currently has one (1) set of thieves’ tools only. We should not waste it overhasty, lest we need it at another point to fulfill the quest.
