Everyone: move up, avoid 2 pressure plates. Should you meet patrol there, follow this battleplan
Cordy + Amad + 2 shroom -> Justiciar (last time 14 dmg vs similarly armored J wasn’t enough. 22 should do it even if they get a shield and debuff someone and have a ring)
Lara + 1 mush -> armed guard (exactly enough) Ricki -> dog (enough even after debuff)
5 mush -> birb
If someone can’t find specified target, switch to the lightest armored guard
IF There are guards, meaning they were already in the lower-entrance room, or were moving to it from the center room.
Ricki: Point out pressure plate traps. Attack the Justiciar. Wolf: Attack the Dog. Lara: Attack the Justiciar with your Siegesword. Cordy: Punch the Justiciar. All Shrooms Except 45: Beat up the bird.
IF There are no guards, meaning they are either fighting bats/just finished fighting bats, or travelled somewhere else in the dungeon, in which case there’s no worry about running into them in the lower-center room due to no line of sight.
Everyone: Move right.

Sorry for the conditional. But it’s really difficult to deal with wandering monsters without it.
I also don’t want to mess around with guessing the Justiciar’s stats. I’m sure one of our guys could break off and attack someone else and we’d still get the kill, but if we’re wrong it’s a really big deal. The Justiciar could have the equivalent of +10 Defense (3 Chain, 3 Heavy Shield, 2 Justiciar Buff, -2 Atk to one of our attackers). Once he’s out of the fight, it becomes a lot safer for all our characters involved.
Let’s suppose we find no guards in the room below the entrance, so we move right, and then we find the guards in the center room – what happens then? Do they get free attacks on us while we just stand there because we didn’t post a plan for that scenario?
Just to be clear, this is a sincere question, not a snarky way of saying this plan is bad. It seems like a good plan, I’m just worried about this one possibility.
If the Guards are moving through the lower-center room, it means theyre done fighting bats and are moving left, which means we would meet them in the lower-entrance room.
Otherwise, Guards are still fighting bats, just finished fighting bats, or have gone elsewhere in the dungeon, which is worst case scenario.
Now we march

Stats for reference
name / atk / def / hp
justiciar ? ?+1 ?, can curse for -2 -2
armed guard 3 8 8 x2
guard 1 8 8 (chain + shield) (or justiciar gets a shield instead)
guard 1 5 8 (shield)
dog 2 1 4
birb 0 0 1
=
10+? damage = 12 first turn (because J will debuff)
Ricki 9 8 7 (50% dodge)
Lara 15 11 6 (inc night eyes)
Cordy 11 10 5
Amad 9 7 12
SMush 1 1 2 x7
Keep in mind that one of the guards could have the +2 buff
And buff from the GuardDog, right?
Yeah. Guard Dog buffs the def of all Guards. It also gets an attack buff but Amad’s debuff cancels it out.
Ricki: Move up.
Lara: Move up.
Cordy: Move up.
Wolf: Move up.

Spare 45.
We need to see the little guy grow.
Away from PC for the day so cant edit.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!
