Dungeon 13 Turn 44
————
Ricki quickly climbs out of the dragon pit to see if anything is going obviously wrong up top. Nothing to see so far.
The party splits their attacks against the two tails, and despite the tortoise’s continued attempts to heal the lizard (learn to let go, buddy), they easily defeat them without taking any damage. Cordy spawns a new mushroom from the remains of one of the tails and sends it to serve Lara.
We know its stats. We know we can hit it with everything we have now safely (it has 5 attack)
Amad: Claw Turtle. Pick up whatever the Lizard drops if anything. Drop the whip if need be.
Cordy: Suplex Turtle
Ricki: Move up. Move Down. Attack Turtle with Sword
Lara: Attack Turtle with Siege Sword. Put on the armor it drops. Drop Chain and Bandolier if need be to make room.
All Mushies (except 45): Attack turtle.
weird idea. could we actually cover the hole that leads to the dragon pit? maybe the patrol will skip investigating it. huge dead dragon-lizard might be just the right size
Maybe, but I don’t think the patrol will even get to the sunhead room until turn 48. I don’t think we want to spend 3 turns hiding in a hole just to avoid a fight against enemies we should be able to beat with minimal risk.
hmm.. yeah, you’re probably right it’s a waste of turns
weird idea: we know the turtle basically can’t damage us at all now. Everyone irritate the turtle, when it opens its shell, put something in the gaps, so it can’t close it anymore. Then SNIFFFFFFF the green-vapor and get fully healed. Or get cancer, due to tissue growing too fast.
HOW is this idea better than me suggesting we attack the monsters AFTER boosting our strenght with a 5th member?WHY would we attempt this?
Que was making a joke, I think.
Also, the 5th character wouldnt boost our strength. Our party limit is 4. If we tried to recruit a 5th character mid-dungeon they would only follow us around staying out of combat. They wouldnt even carry stuff. See how Botanya acted when we got her in the Farm dungeon. Party limit is 4.
well.. it came to me as a joke, but then I thought, maybe LSN will find that amusing enough to let us 🙂 It all boils down to whether ‘the green thing’ is controlled by turtle’s will, or not really. I’d say, even if we i.e. toss something like imperial armour in-between the shell parts to block it from closing, and it gets destroyed in the process, meh, whatever, but if we’d get even a few hp boost per member involved, it’d still be not a wasted action. So joke or not, maaaybe worth trying…
Turtle soup time? Or tortoise soup, I suppose.
