Daisy in Kamau’s bed, finally she’s comfortable! <3
But where is Lupus Lazuli?
Also, since Botanya doesn’t seem to get her own room in the manor, maybe the vegetable garden doubles as her “room”? She does have two bond threshholds…
All the characters with two bond thresholds only had their room show up as a construction option after reaching the first threshold. We’ll still need to take Botanya on a second dungeon before seeing her room.
Botanya has a fast bond track, just like Macadamia. Remember that the construction delay keeps us from ranking up for at least one dungeon.
Why? You’ve mentioned this before; maybe I’m misinterpreting, but this reads to me like you’re suggesting waiting until we can buy a number of manor upgrades at once. There’s no advantage to doing so, and in fact, there’s a disadvantage because we delay whatever benefit we could have gained from the upgrades we could have bought sooner.
Of course, if you mean something completely different, none of the above applies.
That’s because the garden is a terrible choice. So was the Mammoth pen. Ama’s bedroom wasn’t great either. Saving gold to buy in bulk also serves no purpose. You would have difficulty choosing worse things to spend money on, unless you’re going to troll and say “buy a rope but then immediately throw it away” or “buy crossbow bolts then shoot your party members.”
Labor purchased now will likely not ever pay for itself, given that you need 10 more dungeons for that to happen. That’s just paying for itself, not being beneficial in any way – just a net neutral. Even that isn’t likely. Plus the opportunity cost – we could be using that money to buy things that increase our survivability, so that we can play more aggressively and get better loot from the 10+ dungeons it would take to break even.
In real life, “spend $1000 now to get $100 a month for life” is a good deal. In a lot of games there are mechanics like this that are good deals. I can see why that gives you a feeling of attachment to a similar mechanic. In this case, it’s more like “spend $1000 now to get $100/decade for the rest of your life (which will probably not be 10 more decades unless you’re very lucky, and certainly not more).
I only count 2 ‘he’ characters, and maybe Squirrel and Yorick. A lot of the characters are ‘she’ or ‘they’. (I’m sure if I’m missing a ‘he’ in this picture, somebody will let me know).
Mac,Cordy,Cyx…and Squirrel, minishrooms,Yorrick,Toaster…that seems to be all.No idea where Lazuli went off to,I’d have assumed he’d prefer to be with Amy.
You mean Mac?Probably ordering the midshrooms to decorate rooms with the plants that Botanya grew. He’s arguably the one most concerned about a good-looking home, since he DID lose his.

Oh my,this might just be the best thing LSN has drawn.
You should definitely read WSWFG, there was a lot of very good original lsn-drawn content, arguably way better than what we have now in DE. Like, Ardon’s wedding. Or.. nah, mentioning anything scenes feels like drop in the ocean. Mate. Srsly. WSWFG.
Look at all those pets!

Huh? Vine is still alive? I thought it died long time ago like FB ;>
Do all the mini cox count as labor?
Do you mean mini Cordy? If so yes.
No idea why my brain rewrote his name to Coccyx in my head. But yes and cool.

I had the same thought once.We CAN check, since it’s just 15 gold, but I’d prefer to buy in bulk.

Because the last time I suggested we buy the Garden,I got downvoted.& recently I got comments telling me that we should just buy health potions.
I seemungly can’t say anything that could be liked by the rest of the audience.Damned if you do,damned if you don’t.

What’s he doing?
There are too many ‘he’ characters in this for me to answer that…

I thought Cordy, Cyx, mushroom pets and Toaster were ‘they’ rather than ‘he’ or ‘she’.
I meant the one we do not see.

Uh….
Have you ever heard the tragedy of Dark SydePhil the Wide?
