Dungeon 12 Turn 31
————
Lara easily shatters the barricade, then heads back to the central well.
She makes it past the skeletons without taking damage, but still loses 1 HP from drowning.
Cordy destroys the new egg sac moments after it appears. They take 1 unblockable poison damage. Oddly, the water doesn’t become clear again immediately…
…But when Amadeusz defeats the egg sac above shortly after, all the water on both levels returns to its normal gross-but-not-deadly state. Amadeusz also takes 1 unblockable poison damage.
Ricki gets attacked once again by both paralysis-inflicting ghouls.
But she manages to resist the paralysis! She can act normally next turn.
Cue the music
“You Say Run”,or something more Sabaton?
Lol finally
REVENGE
Plan: Heal up and Prep
Ricki: Kill a Ghoul.
Lara: Move up and left. Drop Rope and Arrows in the Pile. Grab a Coin by the treasure chest. Get Air.
Amad: Move Down to cordy. Get Air. Eat Candy.
Cordy: Mend Lara. Drop the wand of Mend in the pile.
Idea next turn is for Lara to grab the wand so she can heal since she’ll be by herself dealing with puffers.
Amad can scout the right room (and deal with that lone fish maybe)
Cordy can be our packmule for when dungeon ends. Maybe check the Puzzle Chest.
Can we drop a wand the same turn we use it?
We’ve used keys and dropped them. If not, we’ll trade next turn.
Something to keep in mind: Although Lara can walk along the ceiling, those Frogs DO have a ranged attack. So she may get pulled into them and take a drowning.
Ricki: Attack Ghoul 2
Ricki’s shroomie: Attack Ghoul 2
Lara: Move up and left. Drop Rope and Arrows in the Pile. Grab a Coin by the treasure chest. Get Air.
Ama: Grab a coin, then go down to the pile-area and drop the coin in the pile.
Cordy: Grab a coin. Drop the wand and coin in the pile.
Reasoning:
If Ricki’s shroomie gets attacked back, then it’ll spawn a new one off the ghoul she kills this turn. This would also divert one of the attacks, roughly doubling the chance that she can take an action next turn.
If the shroomie doesn’t get attacked, then one free damage. Which may be more important than it sounds – the way LSN phrased turn 28 makes me concerned that we need the extra damage.
“Her crit items that she’s definitely been wearing since she found them (don’t check) activate and she beheads one”
Cordy reasoning:
I don’t think we can both mend and drop the wand on the same turn? If we can, I’ll edit this to match Claudious’ plan – Cordy mends Lara instead of grabbing a coin, then drops it in the pile.
How to Play says: “dropping items doesn’t use up an action.”
It doesn’t, which is why I still have Cordy taking an action and dropping an item. But I believe a rule was made that you can’t use an item, then trade it on the same turn (due to us abusing that mechanic). I can’t remember if that rule also applies to using it, then dropping it.
Also I might be misremembering the rule…
If I recall well, it we were abusing this to heart’s content and we effectively were getting way more item-uses per turn than reasonable. Dropping is free, and picking up was sometimes free, but the new rule says: no free item trading that way. If someone drops an item for free, then the person who picks it up has to spend an action (even if they wouldn’t spend an action if the item were lying there since begining of the turn/etc). That way the cost of drop&pickup on the same turn is the same as normal item trade, and drop-yesterday & pickup-tomorrow may be free under some conditions that I don’t remember.
fff… complicated.. feel welcome to bash&burn if I got something wrong!
Ghouls are undead. Likely immune to poison damage. And without her Shroom, Ricki wont be able to OHKO the 2nd Ghoul.
Ah, darn, good point.
Small addition to Claudious’ plan from Jerf:
Ricki: Kill a Ghoul.
Lara: Walk into the skellies so they break more swords. Move up and left. Drop Rope and Arrows in the Pile. Grab a Coin by the treasure chest. Get Air.
Amad: Move Down to cordy. Get Air. Eat Candy.
Cordy: Mend Lara. Drop the wand of Mend in the pile.
Ricki. Stand completely still. Ghouls can’t see you if you don’t move. I read it on a Snapple cap.
