Dungeon 11 Turn 40

Mac picks up the longbow and two silver rings of aggression, then follows Ricki back to the kennels. Ricki takes the wand of mend off the ground on her way further on.
Amadeusz looks under the middle bed and finds eight gold coins. Kamau checks the right bed and finds an angry scorpion. Kamau thinks that’s typical.
Plan: Finish up and prep to leave.
Amad: Search the last bed, Drop Axe and leather if you need space. Move left to rat room. Stay out of sight of patrol.
Kamau: Interpose Scorpion. Move away from scorpion after.
Ricki: Point out traps (ladder rung) to Mac while he moves. Move up Rat hole and loot bed 1. Drop hammer if need be. Move down Rat hole after.
Mac: Avoid Traps and move left to basement golem room. Stay by hole.
Next turn, provided that Amad can confirm the patrol is in the rat room, Ricki can loot the last bed and Mac can use the hole to get to exit and end. Actions do take place on Dungeon end as confirmed in Farm (Kamau getting remorsed at the last minute)
Smith Hammer is cool, but it is worth 4.5 gold for each slot it takes. Bed will probably be better value.
Wouldn’t it be better to have Ricki in the hole with the spider than have Amadeusz just standing there in a corridor? Spider can’t damage Ricki and Ricki can see the webs. Kamau can keep interposing as Amadeusz checks under the beds.
Only Ricki can loot the beds through the Rat hole. Mac is full and needs to be close to exit. Amad is checking the last bed on the other floor.
I’m thinking if he’s gone through the trouble of crafting this captain character, we should at least take a look and scope out the potential battle. Kamau still has his instant revive and Ricki still has grit to use.
Still a huge proponent of blasting the kobold door for the (what looks like a) special ring on the left side. Casing the captain too, just to see what might be the reward.
Agreed. Specially because we are likely to meet stronger enemies at the Research Facility, which is supposed to be a harder challenge.

Forego a bed to get a better look at the patrol, decide to fight or run later.
Mac: as an action, listen carefully to Ricki pointing out traps. Avoid pointed out traps, go left and hide by the open chest.
Ricki: go point out a ladder runk to Mac (use action if you don’t have time otherwise), then move up-left to hide in the spider rathole. Case the meanest guy on the screen if you still have your action.
Ama: loot the last bed, dropping axe and leather if you need space. Move to the lower part of the room.
Kamau: Making use of heroic effort passive strike the scorpion with a hilt.
Next turn we can either safely leave, or try fighting the patrol if we think we have a chance. (or case if that fails this turn)
Spending actions on pointing traps because it has been known to fail if Ricki doesn’t spend significant time in the room.
40 turns is rather short for a mainline dungeon, so there is hope this patrol is manageable.
Still, better to check them out from a safe place. Ama can’t do it because if the guards deal with rats in one turn (T41), they can spot Ama leaving the room on T42 and call for backup, forcing us to leave.
Mainly to appease my conscience:
Mac: Avoid the traps Ricki points out to you, go left and hide by the rat hole.
Ricki: Point out the traps to Mac, make sure he leaves the area safely. If you have an action, Case the Imp. Then, avoiding any traps, go up and left l, passing through the rat hole by the wooden pillar. Do not engage spider, keep Daisy close to you and avoid the web.
Kamau: Interpose.
Amadeusz: Check out the last bed, drop the battleaxe and leather armor if you need space to carry new loot.
This cases the imp, sets Ricki up to case the Commander, puts Mac in running position and protects Amadeusz in the chance we find a second monster under the bed. If we really need it, next turn we can simply try the keys on the door to the area with the two beds. Kamau and Amadeusz will also be one step away from the patrol, which will give them time to swap equipment in order to boost Kamau’s defense.
Picking some points I like from existing plans and adding my own ideas:
(Guards stuck at rats)
Amad loot bed, dropping axe if need space, while Kamau interpose, then both move to bottom floor
Ricki: Go left and go into spider hole(do not approach spider or let guards spot you) to case the strongest guard
Mac: Go in hole to loot a bed, dropping arrows if needed to make space. Leave hole.

Kamau can dauntless through more traps if he still has it to read imp note.
