“…which inhibits the ability of the lycanthropic cells to bind to those of a foreign body. It does nothing to cure the original curse, but it makes it impossible to pass it on to others through a bite.”
“So as you can see, there’s no cause for alarm on that front.”
“Wow, thanks for explaining that so thoroughly! I’ll never worry about it again!”
“As for the wolf’s behaviour… although Kamau is correct that my alternate shape is, indeed, a wild beast with a murderous disposition…”
“That problem, too, can be made manageable if one takes proper precautions.”
“I’ve never heard of that before.”
“I’m not surprised.”
“For one thing, werewolves are quite rare in this modern age.”
“For another, the solution is… unintuitive.”
“I spent many, many years trying to find a means to conquer the wolf, to break it to my will as one would an ordinary animal.”
“But doing so only makes it stronger.”
“The wolf, though a distinct personality, is, after all, one’s own self.”
“It cannot be defeated. But it CAN be negotiated with. You have to give it what it wants.”
“And it turns out, in the end, we wanted the same thing.”
“Freedom.”
“Since we can’t be rid of each other, over time, we’ve made various concessions to one another instead.”
“Rest assured that when it comes to our cooperation here, the wolf and I are in perfect agreement.”
“Now then, shall we carry on? We still have another day or two of travel ahead of us, after all.”
The broken Stargate in the background stole the show.
I wonder if what Wolf is disagreeing with is the constant lying and conniving.
For the people who hate Amadeusz for his colourful speech, we proudly present…
AMADEUSZ: “…which inhibits the ability of the lycanthropic cells to bind to those of a foreign body. It does nothing to cure the original curse, but it makes it impossible to pass it on to others through a bite.”
“So as you can see, there’s no cause for alarm on that front.”
RICKI: “Wow, thanks for explaining that so thoroughly! I’ll never worry about it again!” (Or he might repeat the whole speech, and that’s too much for one little goblin)
AMADEUSZ: “As for the wolf’s behaviour… although Kamau is correct that my alternate shape is, indeed, a wild beast with a murderous disposition…”
“That problem, too, can be made manageable if one takes proper precautions.”
KAMAU: “I’ve never heard of that before.” (Which is a nice way of saying “You just made it up, Amadeusz”)
AMADEUSZ: “I’m not surprised.” (Obviously he made it all up!)

“Rest assured that when it comes to our cooperation here, the wolf and I are in perfect agreement.” (They perfectly agree that they hate each other, what an old married couple!)
“Now then, shall we carry on? We still have another day or two of travel ahead of us, after all.”
Oh, so it’s like he’s on PreP, gotcha. I wonder if you HAVE to bring Amadeusz on dungeons sometimes (to hunt) or the wolf gets restless. That would explain the lack of Bond for other characters. Like you *could* theoretically set him aside to grow Bond with everyone else and not use him, but it’s not wise to do so. We should ask Amadeusz if the wolf has certain needs and if there’s anything we need to do to help him always remain in control of it.
From this distance, Phoenix is smaller than 1 pixel (and therefore invisible) – cute!
Now that we know about Amadeusz,
please jump back and look at first panel on i10p22
… and feel the irony of the Wolf, and the Chicken as his pet
Did we just sent him on a true trial of willpower? xD
Phoenix was at more risk with Lhok in my opinion…
Chickens do eat vegetable stuff, e.g. corn, don’t they? —
Ricki, accompanied by Amadeusz, Phoenix and Botanya, reaches a river. There is a small boat…
