Dungeon 1 Turn 27
————
Ricki urges Kamau to take another ball and chain and use it as a bowling ball to kill the rats, but Kamau promises her that his sword, though broken, will be a more effective weapon.
“A handful of rats aren’t going to be a problem. You should stay back while I fight. No offense, but you already look pretty rough. Or, instead of attacking, I could focus on protecting you. Your choice.”
“Wow! You’re crazy strong! They’re not even hurting you!”
“Well, it doesn’t exactly TICKLE…”
Kamau kills one of the rats. He takes no damage.
Ricki also asks Kamau what he knows about the jail, but he explains that he’s only been here before as a prisoner, so his knowledge is limited.
Looks like Kamau only has one damage right now, but iirc Ricki has two. We should have kamau defend us while we attack so that we can kill things faster, as long as kamau’s protection is full protection
Its been judged that the little rats likely have 1hp. Kamau likely can do more damage than that, but we can’t see that without a tougher opponent.
that does sound like the smart thing to do. and as Ricki already has the sewage grate key, Ricki and Kamau should probably head to that room after dealing with these rats.
Ricki: Ask if he thinks he can handle a guard solo
Well! maybe we won’t need the food at this rate! Assuming kamau can handle the guard downstairs, we might be clear to get to the grate easy.
Kamau seems to have at least three defense, and at least one damage. If we can get some food, we should be able to handle the grate easily, but this also makes me wonder how tough the guards themselves are. I say it’s best to deal with the solo guard, and then see if we can either turn the dogs onto the rats, or distract the rats.
Kamau should take his time killing all of the rats while Ricki hangs back, after which we’ll move to the next area.
