I wonder if this guy is a ranger and that wolf thing is his familiar. Maybe he shows up when a character dungeon is unlocked. I guess we’ll find out soon enough!
I6P9, that’s the Worg we missed in the Manor, with the guy who was watching us from rooftops on I4P7, shortly after our first letter from A Friend. I5P10 is presumably also him watching us leave the capital from the rooftops.
It’s quite remarkable to me how easily Ricki has slipped into a leadership position such that her reputation makes new arrivals address her first. Like she’s a goblin thief who’s constantly wearing rags. One thing I like about her is that she’s basically just Some Goblin. Her backstory is literally just that she was trying to steal some food and that’s it. Yeah, she’s got the Dungeon Eyes, but that’s not a big deal to her and doesn’t define her. She doesn’t really care about it, and she’s not some Chosen One. It’s just a thing she has, as far as she’s concerned.
Someone could easily mistake Kamau or Lara as the leader of their little band, but nope. This little goblin lady is undeniably the leader of this little band to any onlooker. It’s kinda crazy and cool, especially when you consider how much of a name Kamau used to be. But if you think about it, there are plenty of ways Ricki has demonstrated strong leadership ability so it makes sense. Even if she didn’t have the Dungeon Eyes, I think everyone else would still be following her.
No wonder Sue’s her biggest fan. Ricki is an inspiration!
